Destroy is such a harsh term. There will always be multiple forms of payments for everything and things take time. Are you aware that people still rent rotary phones? Where you aware that diners club cards where bought buy Discover card?

Will bitcoin be used by almost everyone in 2022? No. Will there be more people that use it? Yes.

Bitcoin is an powerful financial tool but just because it's great doesn't mean that it won't continue to take time for mass adoption.

The percentage of users will thoroughly increased by 2022 and that is possible. 2022 is just few years to go so that is really obvious if we to follow the current trend.

If the thread will asked for 2030 then that is quietly hard to follow by now so it's fit the question.

I am not sure that Bitcoin will used by everyone in 2022, that's depend on the price level and stability, and also depend on the effort of the community in advertising this crypto currency everywhere

I don't think so that this will be permitted by the government to operate in just like that they will consider other establishment or businesses to choose if they wish to use this instead. More businesses might not use it for their day to day transaction for they prefer monetary currencies..

I think it's easy to think that in the future there could be trusted and guarantee institutions to monitor the exchanges as a general regulation. but it should be interest free for intermediaries. in the 2022... I hope this coin remains afloat! I think that sooner or later the banks and the states will be felt with a control policy. How far you can go? anonymity against the laws of privacy ... and illegal trade such as money laundering.

2022 is not far from now, it is only 6 years and can't happen miracles. Ask yourself is cash used by everyone? No it isn't, so don't think that bitcoin will be either. I believe that the number of bitcoin users will be increased but not being used by everyone.

Yeah we can expect rapid growth in adoption but its difficult to believe that it will be used by everyone, as honestly I feel that is simply impossible.

For many years or for many decades the bitcoin can't be adopted from everyone because the number of people that do not have internet connection is high.

True factor is the internet as well basic technology knowledge. Really bitcoin won't reach the maximum users by 2020. If that happens truly bitcoin price goes around $1500

I do not think that Bitcoin will be used by everyone in 2022. This is because there are many scammers and hackers active on bitcoin.
People are afraid of losing their money and getting hacked.

agree with you bitcoin still very young mate bitcoin need older or longer time to be able to spread its wings. I think 2022 or 6 years. still too early to bitcoin. can be reflected in the international currency

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think we have not even mined all the bitcoins by 2022. So we cannot still say by then that all people will be using it or another phrase of that will be betcoin replacing the dollar. It is too early for that. I think we should focus on something achievable like making the price grow and more so we can attract more users.

I hope so and I think it is possible that there will be a large percentage of people on the earth using bitcoin by 2022. Even if it is not only bitcoin it will be digital money of some kind.

It doesnt have to be Bitcoin, but the blockchain on a larger level will be used by many in the population by 2022.

You cannot know how many will use it by then, but the adoption will be there.

Bitcoin is quite hostile to innovation. It's not cutting edge anymore. Many, many other coins have surpassed bitcoin in terms of scalability, innovation, speed, and privacy. Bitcoin only has its size going for it. Crypto will most likely be around in 2022, but there's no indication it will be bitcoin, as the level of inflexibility the developers and miners are leading it towards may destroy it or render it worthless by then.

I would agree with the argument that bitcoin will be used by almost everyone in the year 2022, but i differ with other people who say that it wipe out fiat currency and the banks. If that is the case, then paper money could not be existing now because of debit and credit cards. When these were introduced, people said that they will no longer need to work around with money hence paper money could be needless. But now, paper money is still there as much as many people are suing plastic cards in transactions.
