I do not see or projected that way that bitcoin will be defeated in 2019, bitcoin as we know is a very strong and good coin, and the bitcoin has reach the level of success is hard to be overcome by other altcoins , bitcoin can withstand the test of time ,and proven already for its existence in around ten years of circulation, so I am not feeling of defeat for bitcoin.
Btc is always the winner, it will never be defeated by any coin on the top 100 ,.when it comes to volume bitcoin leada them all.
Being the first of its kind, bitcoin has the advantage over other coins. While many ICO projects are better in terms of ideas but many of them did not survive because too many scams have left people with little trust over their capabilities. And because there are too many new ICOs that fail, the lesser will the people's trust on them. Except only when the coin have made themselves a success. With all the competition bitcoin still is on the top for so several years and this might be the same for the years to come.

I don't know the type of restrictions you're talking about. I think it'd be better if you could clarify well, what you mean numerous restrictions. Because with my knowledge in crypto, I think Bitcoin provides one of the best financial freedom you can ever think of due to its many good properties.

We still are not sure of what will exactly happen into the cryptocurrency community since what we can only see is the ups and downs and still no sign of what most likely be the factors affecting this matter. What we can do just right now is wait patiently until the best will just surprisingly come into us. Me as well is suddenly feeling the loss of faith into it but I just view it on the positive side that on the perfect timing, all will be back into a glorious and fruitful year for everyone of us especially we are just into the first month of 2019 so many things can still be possible to happen. I am believe cryptocurrency market will survive for long time and i am optimistic bitcoin will recover soon or later. I am agree that many altcoin wont survive and die but many good altcoin will profitable if we choose good altcoin with working product

I think bitcoin will be not like other coin that gone immediately we all know that we use it the bitcoin in long time ago and still bitcoin give us a surprise every year. BTC is a currency that is here to cause a revolution in the global economy, the present several months price dump not withstanding, BTC will ovrcome the present challenge as there is an increase in the number of investors and users of the currency yearly.

That’s what it seems anytime the price is going down. Every time the price starts to go down everyone starts pulling out and you see the media calling it shit, scam, and saying it would die off anytime soon. BTC has been king even since, it's hard to replace it but it's possible, when you are holding the majority of the investors in crypto, it's hard to loss value.
That could happen though but certainly not in the next few years. As you said, majority of crypto investors are in bitcoin no matter what negative news it takes. New investors will always look at bitcoin first before alts. 2019 will be the same.
