Not sure too but it possible even though the chance was small, ADA was great and have solid community but Ethereum was also have an great community with much higher audience, It's also offering more powerful Smart Contract For now with tons of more and more project using Ethereum as it basis. Well, Maybe it's possible in the future but the chance was small i suppose, Let's see what will happen!

I think Cardano's scientific approach will create a new Altcoin.

Given the background of Cardano's founder, Charles Hoskinson, and the fact that he was a co-founder of Ethereum, I think ADA has a very good chance of becoming much better than Ethereum.

Hoskinson's team is trying to eliminate all of Etherium's shortcomings in his "new" Cardano project, and if he succeeds, I think the ADA will be a real contender to take Etherium's place.

I personally am very optimistic about this.

The token doesn't have a history of the pump and dump yet so it must still be early to say ADA could overthrow ETH, it also doesn't have the smartcontract yet. There was a rumor about Mark Cuban supporting ADA so if he is buying then there will be huge institutions going to be interested in ADA. Raoul Pal admitted he has ADA already.

Cardano will not be able to beat ethereum because I see the Cardano platform is still very new and there are still no developing projects, in contrast to the Binance Smart Chain which in my opinion has the potential to beat ethereum, Cardano is a blockchain platform that is still small maybe if you want to beat ethereum it will take time a very long one.

ADA coin price movements are very slow compared to Ethereum. Of course, ADA market cap is much lower compared to Ethereum. It's never going to be easy to switch position with first and second coins on coinmarketcap because they have the highest liquidity and volumes also they are more popular than every other coins would ever be, Cardano is a good coin but sorry to say it can't take over Ethereum

I don’t think that it will happen, as we can see now even the Ethereum blockchain struggle to provide lower fees to their users, ETH still dominate the market and remain top 2 biggest market cap until today. ADA need to make 5x at least to tie the market cap of ETH. It’s very big now and we don’t know how ETH market cap will be if that happen. ETH continue to develop and large partnership continue to be part of their successful company.

Thats whats on my mind too. But if the problem not solved after ETH 2.0 launch, its possible to be happen then. Also, keep in the mind that another project (also ADA) develop and will have good partnership too.

Cardano waiting with bitcoin keep up trend and without this thing impossible cardano back to higher price, always failed to see any coin success back to higher price without have bitcoin support, many money bitcoin always dump and altcoin have loss chance get to higher price.
