ETH and ADA are good in their own ways.
ETH has a higher transaction fees compare to ADA but still there are projects that are being created on ETH blockchain although it is decreased now and they are choosing BSC over ETH.
Another thing is that, Cardano isn't released its Goguen mainnet which is the start of Smart Contract. I remember one project that is on ETH that will migrate to ADA which Singularity net (correct me if I'm wrong).

To answer that, right now I don't think so that it will happen. In terms of use case, ETH has more use cases than ADA. The only thing that ADA is better compare to ETH as of this moment is the transaction fees and staking since it requires lesser amount just to stake and there is no lockup compare to ETH which has a 2 year lockup.

Within the next years, I still believe that Ethereum will be on the top still. Both of the projects are evolving but still ETH will still be on the top. Just fix the transaction fee issue and it is good to go again Cheesy

I wouldn't put Cardano at the top of Ethereum, but there are some points where Cardano is a much better version but it doesn't mean that it could surpass Ethreum since of its growth and it the closest to crypto to bitcoin.

We can see how Ethereum grows and how they continue to develop Ethreum that is why it fades off even in the Ethereum network, even though a lot of people hate it because of the high fees in the market still that is just because of the contested network meaning there is high traffic in the network.

But developers and investors clearly see a big potential in Cardano but it doesn't really have a big movement in the market, maybe it just doesn't have trendy news like Ethereum, but I will not be surprised if Cardano's market price explode.

we need to see that first happening. will it push thru once eth deployed their eip 1559 this coming july? what if the gas efficiency will indeed improve after launching this protocol? are they going to stay under eth network? i believe most projects are migrating to another network, let's say bsc or ada, because of the fees involved under eth. however, once this is resolved, i believe they will change their stance as eth is still the popular network when it comes to smart contracts.
right now, i don't see ADA overthrowing ETH. that's too early to tell. we need lots of successful projects under ADA before they can even claim that they can compete with ETH.

I don't think so, if the price of ADA is 12 $ then maybe the price of ETH has reached more than 5000 $, I just compare it to the current price and of course if ADA goes up then ETH and other cryptos also go up, regardless of the development of each project.

Take a look at both blockchains. Ethereum has an army of projects under it while Cardano has relatively smaller amount of projects. All coupled with the fact Cardano is a late bloomer, and you would see only one winner. Ethereum

Which community? When? Where?
IMO nothing will beat ETH as ETH is like 20 lightyears ahead of all those so called ETH killers.
Having said that, please gimme $12 per ADA, i'm more than ready to sell my bag at that price

Agreed with you on this. African Union has an ambitious Agenda 2063 initiative to overcome poverty on continent and rich economic prosperity for both, people and all African countries. DeFi friendly Cardano ecosystem which can also serve billions of users will definitely lend them a helping hand. Ethereum couldn’t handle it due to its inherent limitations.

Cardano's ATH price was 2.46 dollars. And I don't think that it is impossible to see a price around 12 dollars also. Market cap will also reach a huge level of course but I'm not sure that it is an "Ethereum Killer". Ethereum is having its one of the best times and it will continue to rise also while Cardano is rising.

Cardano and Solana are currently struggling to attract people using their blockchain. if you ask whether to replace ethereum in my opinion it is impossible for now. BNB alone who is a candidate to replace ethereum still can't, let alone Cardano. In the long run, projects with blockchain development I think have a good direction because of community support. although not for now

I think not, how can you overthrow a platform that was also a pioneering smart-contract provider and revolutionized the smart-contract solution in the crypto industry. I believe that Ethereum has its own place in the crypto industry no matter what happens, And all of those competitors are just following the footprints of Ethereum, so let them prove it. I never say that Cardano is bad, But why people always comparing the original to the copies. Cardano has its own purpose and function that's why it's better to let Cardano work and prove its position in the industry same as other competitors also.

Anything can be happen in crypto market in the near future, this is depending of the each project how to solve the current problem of scaling, finalty time and high transaction fee. At the moment the marketcap of Cardano about 1/5 from ETH, so if ADA keep rally to 5x the marketcap of each other can be the same. We have seen alot of altcoins that are in the top 10 ranking based on marketcap, but now the ranking decrease because alot of better competitor in the market. I heard many complain of high gas fee and the network congestion so Ethereum should be solve that problem as soon as possible so that crypto community still choose it.

It is impossible and will not happen, I myself do not find a factor to strengthen the statement that Cardano is able to overthrow ETH, maybe the cost problem at ETH has not been resolved, but some time ago the cost of ETH was cheap. True and people will always continue to compare different networks based on what they provide to the investors and for BNB that we can say has done enough, is still not enough IMO to overthrow Ethereum let alone Cardano ADA. There are several projects that are doing great work and I must confess that the cardano team are doing a great job, but I don't see them overthrown ethereum because ethereum developers are working round the clock to bring greater benefits to the ethereum blockchain. It's great to see different projects building up capacity and that's healthy for the cryptocurrency industry.

I don't think cardano will ever knock down the ethereum. When we compare the two in terms of price, there is a big difference between them. and when the cardano reaches the ethereum level, the ethereum will be much higher than its current level. I cannot compare the two. Ethereum is much more successful if we have to make comparisons.

You are talking about the possibility that Cardano can catch up with Ethereum in terms of market cap. But you are overlooking something here. When Cardano's market cap reaches Ethereum's current level, Ethereum's market cap will already have increased also. Unless Ethereum loses its importance and power, I don't think that Cardano can leave ETH behind.
