Just let ADA to surpass BSC first before we will see it to compete with ethereum. BSC has been growing significantly due to the various products that available on the binance ecosystem.
Is not it too early to discuss about the possibility for ADA to surpass ethereum? I kinda feel doubt if that will happen in the future.
So many ethereum killlers but these ethereum killers got rekt while BSC rarely declare itself as ethereum killers. ADA is overvalued at this moment. I think that will not happen for sure.

In terms of technology, ADA is better than ETH. But in terms of development and community development, ETH is much better.
There is more ETH put into nodes, DEFI so the value of ETH will increase over time.
The new ADA and their smart contract are in beta. We will expect ADA to increase in value when the smart contract and DAPPs and DEFIs on this blockchain launch.
There will come a day when ADA catches ETH, I think it will take about 5 years to do so.

it could have happened to ADA to $ 12 but it took a long time and larger volumes to reach such a high price it may take up to 5–10 years to reach a much higher price no one knows anything could happen if ADA had great and useful benefits for many it could be that the price could go up to more than that it could be to $100 get to the top one has to really work hard The CEO has to be creative and choose a step better than ethereum to be competitive and have great ambitions of course.

The reason is just see BSC, trying so hard to overthrow ETH and despite binance modifying its blockchain to be rather centralized where they control all the nodes making the blockchain significantly faster than what eth has the BNB market cap still far below ETH by a lot about $250 million dollars more or less.
Now even cardano gets overtaken by XRP, a coin that many people hates easily and it's already enough reason why it could never overthrow ETH.

If ADA truly and the community behind it really want to overthrow ETH in term of market cap, try to get past usdt market cap's first since even though ADA has ever ranked at #3 by market cap it's just temporarily because the market still not really worth that much and mainly affected by temporary hype that cause the coin to pump Grin

This actually have a sense. When compared to ETH, ADA has a far and lower trading volume. That only indicates that the progress of eth, even cardano surge up 50x will not gonna overthrow or surpass eth's capability and development.

It is Difficult that cardano overtake Ethereum. Currently Ethereum touch 3k but cardano is going down.Even Xrp price is greater than Cardano. Cardano is a very slow project.Its price is not increasing for last few weeks but eth is moving from 1600 to 3000 within few weeks.Now this Discussion is in the market that Eth hit 10k first or BTc hit 100k.

I don't know how people perceive it, but for me, don't take this one as a goal and stick to it to survive. As you can see, there are a lot of projects created with the sole purpose of surpassing Ethereum, but in retrospect, it is important to know that the platform Ethereum has built today is not able to topple the updates. the difference between cardano and ethereum now only smart contract creation. but i heard they will create it, CMIIW and when it happen i am agree cardano could be the competitor for ethereum ,but not for killer. as many years ethereum platform used by much projects and its still survive till now on, althouh there are appear several competitors such as polkadot and bsc.

I believe that Cardano and Ethereum can happily co-exist and continue to grow bigger and bigger. The strong potential of both networks are both established already. Right now, Ethereum keeps on growing despite the complaints of the many due to its unbelievably high gas fees in all transactions under its network which means those with small value coins and tokens are taking a backseat. Cardano on the other hand got many things on its sleeve and can be a big leader soon in the cryptocurrency market - the only thing right now is that it seems to me that its growth has stopped temporary and is having a hard getting past the $1.40 or $1.50 barrier. I am hoping to come back to this post maybe a year from now and hopefully ADA has already gone to the Mars.

ADA is only full with gimmick and I'm not even see any good usability and in this case BSC was far greater than ada.

ADA will never able to surpass ethereum and this is the fact. You can ask bunch of people about what they will choose between ADA and ether. I do believe there will be saying ether as their choice.
It makes sense if you are replacing ada with BSC.

I'm not seeing any potential from ADA to overthrow ether

can surpass ETH is not realistic for now though ADA is one of the good potentials to hold in the long term.

There have been a number of those thread now in the recent days and weeks. Will polkadot be the next Ethereum, will BNB overtake ETH and now this one. I personally don't think, that a project will push Ethereum away from the second position in terms of marketcap. At the moment ETH has more than 3x the market cap of XRP at number 3 and around 8 times the market cap of cardano. I think the recent upgrades of ETH and therefore the lower transaction fees that we are seeing since more than a week now will probably consolidate the second postion of Ethereum even more. So i can't see cardano push away ETH of his throne in the near or mid-term future.

Have we found that ADA has a big help to the community more than enough to surpass ETH? NO, and that gap separates ETH from the other project and even BNB which is the 3rd in rank has not even able to dethrone ETH as we know that not only the price and market cap we base but that is it gives an important role to the market. ETH supports ERC20 tokens while ADA doesn't have.
I believe that ADA will grow but not in a way that it replaces ETH. Too far from happening, maybe BNB can do.

It's just what they say, it won't happen although they do have big plans for ADA. Recently they were doing some event in Africa in which they say they got a contract with the government of Ethopia, the price spike a bit for a moment. There are many rumors for this project but end up now very effective in making the price go up.
The only way you could find out about its real value is if they release the smartcontract and right now they don't have it after years of planning.
