Doge has a solid community and loyal supporter so i think doge will fine without elon. But i think doge is already a part of elon musk so i think Elon will keep mentioning doge. I'm sure doge will keep staying on the top of marketcap even tought elon not supporting DOGE.
Currently Dogecoin is still ranked ninth in cryptocurrency and also still maintains a very good value in the market although lately Elon Musk has rarely talked about Dogecoin, but in general Dogecoin is still doing well in the market and also in cryptocurrencies in general, because it is very clear that Dogecoin is the oldest coin after Bitcoin.
It's ranked number 9 right now but we know there's a risk that it would go down and probably would be out in the top 100. As the hype brought DOGE to the top, I'm sure it's the opposite of hype that will bring DOGE to its original rank, or the rank prior to it was shilled by Elon Musk. Don't focus on the rank so much as a coin could be overvalued sometimes and that's what I see in DOGE.

Ever since Elon Musk started tweeting about Dogecoin, the cryptocurrency has been on a road towards non-stop success. Price per coin rose considerably since the beginning of the year. Those who held DOGE before the pump, already cashed out massive rewards. The momentum will keep going until Elon Musk decides to stop tweeting about Dogecoin. After that, DOGE could either retain its price or go all the way down the drain at a very fast pace. Dogecoin was never meant to be taken seriously, so anything can happen in the future.

What do you think? Will Dogecoin be able to survive without Elon Musk? Or will it simply vanish like the rest of the other "shitcoins" on the market? Is the DOGE hype over? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
Elon Musk is not the only person who has invested in doge coin. Elon Musk only helped to create hype for Doge. and now dogecoin have a lot potential investors and holders. Which is enough for Doge Coin survival. So,  don't need an Elon Musk to survive the Doge

Doge has been in a movement of volatility and even scares for its investors, at this moment the price is close to 0.27USD, which is not bad considering that it was a long time at 0.21USD:

Quote
The 20-day EMA ($0.25) is sloping up and the RSI is just above the midpoint, indicating a minor advantage to buyers. If the price sustains above $0.27, the DOGE/USDT pair may rally to $0.30 and later to $0.35.

At this time, a good help is needed from Elon Musk, if nothing else with a possible price increase of 0.35USD according to what cointelegraph puts in context, if Elon gives a push it could easily reach 0.6usd.

The price of Doge really surprises me, because it has not had the help of Elon Musk to go up and is already going for the 0.27USD, this is something very great for the ivnersors, and it can continue to grow, now well the short cointelegraph criteria term show the following:

Quote
If the price rebounds off this support, it will suggest that the sentiment has turned positive and traders are buying on dips. That will increase the likelihood of a break above $0.28.

If that happens, the pair could climb to $0.32 and then $0.35.

Perhaps it is too early to think that the price of Doge could reach 0.5USD, but seeing that the price of BTC can give new highs, the way for doge to grow is easier, everything is a matter of waiting.

I agree with this, before Elon Musk knew Dogecoin, $DOGE was already in the top 100 Coinmarketcap ranks, because it has had a large community built for a long time, so no need to worry even if there is no hype from Elon Musk, Doge will still stick with his community the big one.
Dogecoin has shown its quality since it was created in 2013. Currently dogecoin ranks very well on Coinmarketcap and has been traded on many exchanges, including binance.
Dogecoin power doesn't lie in Elon Musk, but on a loyal community that values reliable decentralized payment method.
So Dogecoin will continue to survive even without the support of Elon Musk.

I agree with your statements and I expect support from Elon Musk again in the near future. This support may be accepting the doge for the sale of tesla. As you already said, it has folded itself since 2013 and has a serious audience behind it. In the coming years, there will still be an investor mass who trusts Dogecoin. I'm just guessing that it can go further back in the ranking on Coinmarketcap.

In my opinion DOGE can survive without elon musk, even tough elon didn't tweet or mentioned about doge anymore i think doge still can survive in top 10 crypto based on marketcap, the reason why i saying like this because DOGE has a big community who can support the project.

Unlike any other cryptocurrency, there is a lot of love for Dogecoin even without the involvement of Elon Musk. Everyone forgets that. We love Dogecoin but we don't like Elon anymore with what he did to the market about its manipulative tweets. As a joke and now with Elon pumping it and lots of people jumping on board. , I think it will stay in its iconic status for a while. Elon Musk has disappeared since then and he no longer posts Dogecoin related stuff. I really he will come back and continue Keep taking Dogecoin higher and higher with the next record ATH.

Yes, the Dogecoin will survive without the major influencers, led by Elon Musk, but it will maintain its usual price and will remain a coin that has no real uses, and as we know that Elon Mask had a great influence on the price of the Dogecoin and on the gain of that coin to its wide popularity, and if the demand for Dogecoin increases and people use it on a large scale to buy and sell goods, then its value will rise or stabilize without the intervention of Elon Musk.

Elon Musk did a good job on his personal interest in DOGE, though I must admit that there are people who are lucky enough to ride the train and able to sell at the right time. It's hard to ignore those newbies in the market who are just FOMO'd and now continue holding their bag of DOGE still believing that they'll be able to sell their holdings to their target price.

Couple of years ago, around 2018, I researched a bit deeper about dogecoin. I came to conclusion, that it is like dormant: development dead, a dying thing.
If in 2018 it was not only Dogecoin that was dying, but Bitcoin itself is also experiencing it now along with all other Altcoins that are also popular at this time, so I don't think it is a suitable thing to be used as a specific benchmark for Dogecoin.

That's correct, you can't just based on the past because 2018 is a year where most altcoins have suffered a lot and it's the start of a long correction. The growth of DOGE is not due to its development, it only rises in value due to the hype created by Elon Musk, so it's safe to say that without him, DOGE will remain on its value of volatility.

Now, look at DOGE, does it pump again? No, it only moves within its range and there's a big indication that it's just like a ticking bomb that will explode anytime and people will eventually panic.

When the reason for the rise is hype, you'll know what will happen when there's a FUD.

Couple of years ago, around 2018, I researched a bit deeper about dogecoin. I came to conclusion, that it is like dormant: development dead, a dying thing.

Now quite recently I stumbled across news, that dogecoin has been actively developed again. There is the US company called "Dogelabs" (New York City and Tulsa, Oklahoma) discovering, creating, and implementing “real-life” uses for the Doge Protocol. A layer bridge between doge and ethereum is coming, and so on.

So obviously dogecoin has a chance to survive also without mr. Musk, although he can and has already given huge boost.

in my honest opinion, i really think that Dogecoin cannot survive without Elon Musk, why?
because it's all because of Elon Musk effect that Dogecoin can hold out and survive until now, i don't think that dogecoin can maintain its existence if Elon Musk really stop supporting it.
LOL, is Elon Musk still supporting dogecoin now ? and when Dogecoin has been in cryptocurrency since 2013, does Elon Musk know him ?
This makes me wonder when did you know Dogecoin and when did you know Elon Musk Grin Grin
No, that's not what we are talking about here, look, DOGE was recognized as a meme coin in the past although it has a good trading volume when Elon started to shill DOGE, it almost went to $1 and the current price is still high, so if Elon will stop supporting DOGE, there's no reason it will survive at the current standing as it was only because of Elon on why DOGE has pumped this high, that's the real logic here.

The question now is, do you still see the same hype of DOGE we have before? if not, then we should expect for DOGE to eventually have a correction and that means panic for those who ride with the FOMO.
What goes up do definitely goes down and to know that DOGE was already on this market before Elon did hype this thing. If ever he would go out into this market then for sure its price would

really be going back on that before hype thing happened but doesnt mean that its already over for Doge.It would dump but doesnt mean that it would become shit.

It is still way more better than on most low cap and shitty tokens in the market. So its up to someone if they could still risk out.

It was barely alive if you think elon isn't a huge factor here you are kidding yourself.  What else does doge have or do that every other coin can't?  Aren't they still trying to implement segwit which was like a 2016 thing lol.  No one is working on doge and it's reliant on all bitcoin upgrades for them to keep.up.  it's a joke clone coin that's it, period.

Exactly. Dogecoin is simply a joke with no real use cases in the mainstream world. Those who think otherwise, simply don't know what DOGE is all about. The project might survive without Elon Musk, but it won't gain the same attention as it has right now. Dogecoin will be left behind in the dust, just like everything was before Elon Musk started shilling it. As I've said many times already, there are far better cryptocurrencies on the market with innovative features, greater ambitions, and real use cases than Dogecoin itself. It's up to you to decide which coin to invest into for the long haul. I wouldn't advise anyone to take Dogecoin seriously unless you're willing to lose a lot of money in an instant. Just my opinion Smiley

It doesn't seem to be. Now that Dogecoin is downtrend, it is likely to drop again at $0.2. Fundamentally less good, Elon Musk might as well consider this coin just to reduce his boredom alone. So there's nothing to invest in these coins. I think so.

For now, the price of Doge has remained in a very good position, as it is at 0.24 with + 4.23%, which indicates that without any help from Elon Musk, the price of Doge has been rising in a comprehensive and positive way. :

Quote
If buyers sustain the price above the downtrend line, it will suggest that correction may have ended. The pair may then rally to $0.32, followed by an up-move to $0.35.

Many may be waiting for another good move for DOGE, the truth at this time I would not risk with the currency, however I think that as long as the BTC raises this movement it will benefit Doge.
