BTC still remains the king, ETH has a negligible chance to overcome Bitcoin, and i don't think anything can make it to be equal in price with Bitcoin in the long run talk less of overcoming it
Yes, assuming a long story in the future. Now, I think ETH is not able to overcome the shadow of bitcoin by the end of 2016. However, I appreciate ETH, LTC with great progress and growth. A fair competition for the development of cryptocurrency is probably worth the wait in the near future.

Ethereum will be able to achieve bitcoin value, but for 2018 it will be difficult for ethereum to achieve bitcoin value. I think by the year 2019 ethereum will be able to achieve bitcoin value.
I think you should not hope ETH can beat BTC. The BTC price is over 10 times ETH and there is no thing can pump ETH pass the BTC. In my opinion, ETH just need increase to $5000, I will sell it
ETH may be proving us now how great it is due to its development on the past months. How its price shoot astronomically. It showed us that it also have that great potential that people may trust and use. But even though all of its achievements from the past weeks or months, I don't think that it will surpassed bitcoin anytime soon. Bitcoin have set a high standard. It will be really difficult to surpassed. It will take so much just to beat it.
I don't think the price of the ethereum will become price of the bitcoin in this year 2018. Because for sure it will happen after few years because until now bitcoin is still king and maybe after few years it will decrease or it will become gone and if that happen ethereum will become number 1 and we will increase more for sure to hit what price of the bitcoin it and we will earn more profit.

I do not think that the Ether will ever cost more than Bitcoin. Although it is more liquid, I think that after 2020 its use will come to naught, and the Ethereum is more multi-functional and stable coin. 
Sometimes this is also what I'm thinking but maybe BTC is legendary which cannot be replace by the other crypto either ETH . Who knows maybe ETH surpass BTC 
There is a lot of predictions in the past about ethereum replacing bitcoin in the near future. This possibility is not far considering that ethereum has the capability to rise independently from bitcoin. But some other coins might also rise in the future that can overtake ethereum position and pose a challenge to bitcoin dominance.
Perhaps this will happen in the future, although it is difficult to make such a forecast because we are not sure about the prices even in the day before, we just have to get patience and wait
Personally I don't think this will happen because Bitcoin is still considered a better option than Ethereum. Bitcoin is heavily supported by finance corporations. I think ETH will forever stand behind Bitcoin and there is no chance for ETH but if ETH gets the support of world governments then this can happen.As far as the future is concern, the possibility of anything happening is always there i.e to say that the possibility of ETH's price hitting/beating bitcoin's price is there as well. ETH has a unique platform that accepts tokens, which is completely different from BTC. And as a result gives it an edge.
Some people still couldn't beware of the value of ETH. When they understand this, it's gonna be much different. ETH's value will inrease dramatically ending up in extreme prices.

I think Ethereum is a bit undervalued compared to bitcoin. It has a very good prospect in future. Recently, it has been getting a lot of investors attention.
It is not very impossible thing to happen but I also consider it as very unlikely. Ethereum should go to pos to gain that much investors looking for money generation. In current situation, bitcoin is unbeatable.

TBH I still have a hard time seeing where the value of btc and Eth actually comes from...
I think it could be in a very long period of time. because for now it is still very far when compared with the btc price, maybe in a very long time eth will be comparable to btc. because eth has a very good reputation
I don't think that eth will ever beat bitcoin because most of all alts' price growth depends on bitcoin's growth. It's just that bitcoin can never be surpassed.
As it seems to me, ETC on technology is better than Bitcoin, and therefore there is a possibility that the broadcast will become more expensive than bitcoin in a couple of years
Cmon dude lets not get carried away now. Firstly convo is about ETH not ETC second that isn't even possible, ETH won't even usurp BTC that means ETC has zero chance in that battle. I don't know when people will finally concede that Bitcoin will pretty much always be number barring no crazy bs happening by the governments or core developers.
