I was thinking that 2018 will be The Ethereum Year. Many crypto expert predicted that ETH Can touch 2K USD in 2018. But at this moment, I wanna change my vote. Well, I'll try to give you the most powerful and most satisfying answer to all of us. Some people will say that Ethereum is better than Bitcoin. Some people will say that Bitcoin remains the best of Ethereum. But I think we can not be sure directly because we can not predict the future. For me, if I have enough money and enough ability, I'll try collect, buy, and invest into Ethereum and Bitcoin. That's because I always like to have a backup plan. I like to have more than one source of income including investment. That's so that if one source has a problem, I still have another source of income.

I think it can be. And Ethereum and other coins grew longer even than bitcoin.
Ethereum has been out for years and yet there are still very few decentralized applications, that's because solidity, the smart contract programming language used by Ethereum is clunky and pretty much useless. Wait for next generation smart contract capable blockchains, such as NEO or EOS, which open development to multiple languages.

It's true that ethereum is widely used for issuing many tokens since it provides a smart contract platform.But when we compare ethereum's performance with bitcoin,bitcoin has given much higher returns to its investors than ethereum.So for very high benefits,choose bitcoin and if you have a lower investment amount and your are satisfied with a smaller profit,then you could choose Ethereum.
Obviously people who are suggesting to hold "this" coin is definitely a holder of it and he is attracting others to pump and buy it for all that coin holders benefit. By just giving a couple of statement about the comparison of bitcoin and ethereum it isn't enough. But everyone has it's own title to express their opinions freely unless that is not hurting or attacking others.
From my opinion, etherium won't beat or do better when it comes to investment, price,more than bitcoin this 2018,bitcoin is far higher than etherium in price,and investment wise..
