Religion can save. If you can't protect yourself with words, agression, you can believe in kindness and that God is protecting you.
Religion is man own way of trying to please God, mind you, ''man's own way'' but anything aside God's way will never work, thats why you see people calling themselves christains under the umbrella of ''can, wcc'' etc still fight and bather words with one another. Thats because they are not saved, they are just practicing religion. Salvation does not come from becoming a mamber of a church, salvation is the reveletion of the holy ghost in one's soul. So when the holy ghost is present there wont be room for gossips, backbites and lies which religion accept. My resolution is that religion cannot save, but Christ will.
In my humble opinion religion cannot save you. Religion was made by man. Take note religion also is 1 of the reason there is a war happening in the world.
Religion gives only a set of concepts of morality, nothing more.

Salvation is a concept made by religion. If you do not follow any religion, then salvation does not apply to you, and so does purgatory. These are beliefs from faith made by man, not by god.
Do you have any proof that salvation was just made by man? But I do agree that purgatory doesn't exist. Its not written in the Bible.

If you believe, then religion will give you faith in life.
There are many religion in this world and all the people are this world follow one of those religion and all of them have different values in their religion. But one thing is same in all religion and that is they tell us not to do bad work which harm or hurt someone. So all the religion save their followers from doing bad work.

It can save you if it brings about a moral and ethical reformation in you, and that’s for being good. Most Religions want unity through their individual diversity. But If it makes you cunning, selfish, self-praiseworthy, proud, prejudice, and so on so forth of this sort; the religion or even rational philosophy shall be of no use to you. To be frank, anything which elevates in you a sense of divinity or self appreciation will cause you to become a better human being.

Your religion can not save you rather your works. I am a Christian but if i do not keep the laws that means i am lost then.
For me and to my belief religion won't save me, you or us. Religion is just a group of people who worship a god whom we know or not. But for me, the only one who can save us is Jesus Christ. He's the only One who gave us His life. He died on the cross to save us. He died but rose again. And now, He's alive and preparing a place for us to live. But we can't be all save because he did that. We will be save if we only believe that He can forgive our sins, the only God we have and our Savior and giver of Eternal life. Seems too easy but it's not. Do you know well enough about the lessons your religion is teaching you?
Religion can't save us, it's only a guide to every one of us which pat you need to follow. Your self will save you in everything if we taking care of ourselves we live for a long time. Religion is just to learn what God wants to us.
Agreed. If religion alone can save us, then everyone will be going to church to get christened or baptized. Religion is simply like a map that should help you lead a good life. It's up to you how you treat others, how you work, how much you've given back, how you've lived your purpose --those things I believe are the factors to be considered.
I don't believe religion can save because some of religion we have are man-made. And as well some of them are based on self-opinion
I am a Christian. And to my believe, religion does not save. The only person who saves is Jesus Christ. Accepting Him as your Lord and personal saviour and doing His will is the only way to salvation
