Bitcoin prices are falling sharply from few months so we can't expect big splash from any altcoin for short term like 4-5 dollar for ripple. But if you have enough patient and can wait long term, you can see 5-6 dollar for ripple also, it is not hard for ripple or other big projects. i don't really think so. maybe the highest value that it can give is 3$ but after that, sooner or later the price will go down again because it will be dumped by the other holders of it.
As per the current market situation, I don't think ripple will cross 5$ this year. Because the current market is consistently falling down. So I don't think any bull run will come at the end of this year. So there won't any probability of ripple to rise up to 5$.
While other coins are trying to get over from red market Ripple becaome more stronger with every day and new investors choose it insted of bitcoin or ethereum

Anyway despite negative mood on market xrp is strongest one, it placed 2nd line in coinmarket cap yesterday.
For sure, 5$ is out of range of xrp this year. This price can only be considered for a long term. By the end of the year, only 6 weeks were left and if there is no bull run, xrp will not even exceed 1$.
