I do not think he will sell since I doubt money was ever his goal. He is probably in general public working as me and you. Ever if he sells his bitcoin, governments will try hard to track him down.

Although I believe when he is one deathbed, he does reveals his identity.

Well, I think it's difficult to ask how many bitcoins satoshi has, because until now, there was no word about that. yeah, but I think satoshi chose to develop the bitcoin he had. but I don't know, maybe when satoshi sells bitcoin he has, it will be very influential on the crypto world.

besides the point of exposing himself to the governments , he will witness the end of something he built and for people like him , money isn't that much value comparing to make a new system replacing traditional money . it's better for everyone's sake that never happen especially while governments try its best to stop cryptocurrency .

those 21,000,000 bitcoins are fake or tokens. If bitcoins are real Nakamato Satoshi should be proudly claim the success of bitcoin in front of the world.

I think Satoshi already sold his Bitcoin before, Bitcoin now already fully decentralized, but for me, if Satoshi has still Bitcoin, and he will sold it one time, Bitcoin will really dump, but for me, Satoshi is really believing that Bitcoin is  for long term position.

Supposedly Satoshi holds over 1 million bitcoins, do you guys think he will ever end up selling his stash off?  At one point he was worth over 20 billion dollars and at current prices he is worth over 7 billion dollars which is a staggering amount.

For me, as what I read and learn in this forum. Satoshi didn't sell or give his bitcoin. He keep for a long time. No one know where is it. And if satoshi sell or give it to the poor, what is bitcoin right now ?

No one knows the real identity of Mr.  Satoshi Nakamoto and I think if Mr.  Satoshi Nakamoto is real maybe he is the one who control the price of bitcoin.

He should've sold at least some of them in december 2017, selling them now wouldn't be as profitable.
If he infact wants to sell all his BTC I think he will wait for a bigger price

It is said that satoshi holds around 700k BTC. Currently, that's about 4,883,000,000 USD.
I think that would be enough money. Wouldn't be that necessary to cash out 14,000,000,000 USD (@ 20k USD per BTC).

Besides the fact that he could never cash out that sum, thats more money than anyone could spend. Even at today's rate which isn't 'as profitable'.

Additionally it is not known whether 1) satoshi still lives and 2) still has access to the private keys. I doubt they will move ever again.
Why did you bother to do the math for him? People shouldn't bother if he sells or not. Its irrelevant and brings out only useless conspiracies most of the time.

I want to believe he sold it long ago, since he said,he totally wants to leave bitcoin. satoshi shouldn't have left bitcoin and this forum.

Satoshi's coins won't ever be sold for fiat. They'll probably be used to practice force over development by simply using these coins as a vote. Right now it might not seem like much of a danger, but eventually it could be. Bitcoin is pretty much guaranteed to keep going up, so selling coins or potential elitist domination by having a majority share is not a difficult choice.

Why won't Satoshi ever sell his coins to fiat? Because that's a straight single point of failure and a clear signal to all governments that they at least have a clue about where to find him. I'm pretty sure governments are out to seize every single one of his private keys if they find him. For his own sake, and more importantly, for the sake of Bitcoin, these coins should never change owner in any shape or form.
And i know where it was going if ever someone owned bitcoin, luckily he's(satoshi) wise enough to hide his identity to the government before they find him first. That's why we should have all lucky that Satoshi made bitcoin for the betterment in all of us without relying on the government banking system.

What the hell are you on about? Why would he dump his untouched coins for gold and have to pay a ridiculous fee to store it, be well known lose his anonymous status and have a weaker chance at gold hitting 2k rather than BTC hitting $10k +

Bitcoin $6000 to $10,000 = 70% profit.

Gold $1200 to $2500 = 110% profit.

No one knows, that is the only answer that we can give, we do not know if satoshi was just one person or a team, we do not know if he's still alive, however it's unlikely that he is going to move the coins and the reason is simple he probably knows that any movement in those coins will create concerns about the future of bitcoin, since it would seem as if he's trying to cash out and if the developer is trying to cash out then, why we should keep holding?

I don't if satoshi sell his bitcoin or not because until now I did not see his face in public and even his real name, so if they already sold their bitcoin maybe we don't know but I don't think he sell all their bitcoin only few like hundreds thousands pieces of bitcoin are he sell.

If ever satoshi or their group still hascthat huge amount of bitcoin i dont think he/they will be willing to sell it now for fiat.
The stash might be moved but not into fiat but into other coins in support of the vision that one day the current monetary system will be abolished.

Maybe. Odako seems to me that he would have been extremely stupid to do it ... at least now. In the future, he will be able to get much more benefits. If at all he will ever use this account.

They will sell as like other traders,if they want money.Only difference is,we use to buy bitcoin with dollars. They will have 1 million bitcoin in his wallet. We use to mine to get huge bitcoin with some amount as investment. But he will had huge amount of bitcoin with him.He will hold his bitcoin for the future.Sell part of the bitcoin , whenever he wants money.
