Who says Satoshi did not have a separate secret stash and he sold that over time to live off the interest of that money? He

might have relocated to a 3rd world country and converted that money to the local weaker currency and living like a King?

Everyone is following those early coins, but he/she might have bought/mined some coins later on, when it was less noticeable.

There are simply too many people/agencies watching those coins, so I doubt that he/she would ever attempt to access/move

those coins.  Angry

It's okay if he sold off and invest in Gold. So he can enter the Forbes book of the fame and rich. But Satosi I believe will never do such a thing as he is not greedy about been rich but much concern on the freedom of the body from this current brutal financial system of the world that seeks to enslave the people.

Supposedly Satoshi holds over 1 million bitcoins, do you guys think he will ever end up selling his stash off?  At one point he was worth over 20 billion dollars and at current prices he is worth over 7 billion dollars which is a staggering amount.
I don't think he will sell his bitcoin because it will make bitcoin unworthy because the creator even sells it. all you have to know is the existence of satoshi, you need to know that Satoshi is still alive? Because he hasn't come online since 2010 and his wallet hasn't been touched from it so we can't be sure about his life.

I don't think that Satoshi is going to come out anytime at least in the near future even if he is alive. Doing anything with his Bitcoins will give some kind of hints to the people who are aggressively investing regarding the identity of Satoshi. On the other hand, the decision of Satoshi of remaining anonymous is beneficial for the entire crypto industry.

The greatest plan I know that he will do is that he will sell bitcoin in accordance to the bubble of this year. Why I think about is that because his networth will truly rise significantly when bitcoin pumps in an extraordinary way. To that end, we must all aim what Satoshi have so that we can also have the maximum amount of profit we could have in our entire lives.

Unfortunately, he remains anonymous, still hiding his identity, I don't think he will sell his bitcoin, but he will keep him until many people will mine, so his mission is achieved.

We can't be sure of it and no one can tell you us if satoshi is going to dump his bitcoins. We don't even know if he will show up someday or he's not with us anymore. He's really portraying the character of his creation and we can't even know if he's only one or its a team that worked hard to create bitcoin. If ever he dumps, there will be a lot of investors that will panic but the true crypto and bitcoin investors will buy those dumped bitcoins.

I often think, how important is this secret to be disclosed? I don't think it needs to be solved, this discussion only makes a doubt for crypto beginners, they must be afraid that bitcoin will run out of value

He should've sold at least some of them in december 2017
Does he also have the ability to see the future?
I mean, who would have known that price will deep this way. At that ATH in December, so many people bought then and are yet to see price come that high since that time  Grin

I doubt that it would even be a problem at this
point if Satoshi were to sell his coins. In my opinion
a smart investor would scoop up the BTC just like it
happened with all these government auctions.

Of course it might lower the price temporarily, but in the
long-term it doesn´t really matter at all.

Having said that, I still think that Satoshi is gone for good
and we will never see a movement of these early coins.

If Satoshi really exists, I think he has no problems with bitcoins. He can sell them as much as he likes. But no one knows if he really exists. It would be interesting to get acquainted with such a person.

That's not really the question here, but of course "he" exists. Who do you think created bitcoin? Magical bitcoin elves or the technology evolved out of nothing? Maybe AI or aliens created it?

Satoshi might be a single person or a group, but he or they definitely existed. Personally I think it was probably one guy but that's just my opinion.

I doubt he's going to do that, he care less about been rich than making the society a better world. But if he does actually sell off his holding, that will be a a lot of money. Investing it in gold wouldn't be bad but keeping it in bitcoin will still be better.

Asking whether satoshi will ever sell his coins is like asking if Jesus will come back from the dead. Nobody can say for sure, but probably not  Cheesy. I think if satoshi was ever going to sell his coins then he would have  likely already done so by now, or maybe he's just the worlds longest bitcoin hodler?  Grin. I think satoshi is either dead, lost access to his coins, or maybe just purposely abandoned them to make it fairer. If he does ever come back though I hope he's wise and fair enough not to just dump them all and sell them off slowly and bit by bit as to not cause a panic. Probaby best for everyone of they just remain dormant however.

If anything he should have sold at 20k, which he would have done if he was in it for the money.

Will Satoshi sell it? No one knows. We shouldn't care about it in the first place. It's his/her/they're bitcoins, so Satoshi can do whatever he/she/they wants with it. If there's someone in the cryptocurrency space that deserves a massive fortune, it's definitely Satoshi.

Why won't Satoshi ever sell his coins to fiat? Because that's a straight single point of failure and a clear signal to all governments that they at least have a clue about where to find him. I'm pretty sure governments are out to seize every single one of his private keys if they find him. For his own sake, and more importantly, for the sake of Bitcoin, these coins should never change owner in any shape or form.
Also this. Satoshi's anonymity would be pointless as selling even 1 sat would publicize Satoshi's identity one way or another.

Satoshi's coins won't ever be sold for fiat. They'll probably be used to practice force over development by simply using these coins as a vote. Right now it might not seem like much of a danger, but eventually it could be. Bitcoin is pretty much guaranteed to keep going up, so selling coins or potential elitist domination by having a majority share is not a difficult choice.
