I had also predicted earlier that BTC might reach $10K by the year end. Well.. lets see what happens.
what was the rate when you made your prediction .? and do you still back it with same believes or do you think it might not happen in 2014? 
it is around the 450$ mark and I'll be more then happy if bitcoin stabilizes around 1k-2k$ by the end of this year..! I'm not even thinking about 10K$ now..! but we never know what we can expect from bitcoin. BTC

Yes it possible. But when it happen? Right now price are dropping every day.

The price of bitcoin on the CoinDesk Bitcoin Price Index (USD BPI) remained below $500 on Friday 28th March, amid continued uncertainty over whether the Chinese government would seek to prohibit banks from working with digital currency exchanges.
Sources in China indicated that the reports, which first surfaced on 27th March, appear to be true, though the People’s Bank of China, the country’s central bank, has yet to give any formal indication that its position on bitcoin and other digital currencies has shifted.

After every crash there is rise. It is bitcoin history. WE can expect $1000 with in one year.
would you like to substantiate your claims besides just saying so..! I mean to say everyone on this thread will say the same.. even i believe it might happen..! but people want to know what might effect the rate ..? what good is going to happen? The question is how low will we go and when the rise will arrive
We may see a few thousands USD this year if we get the correct set of events, data and sentiment but we may go down a lot more before we can put this downtrend behind us, it feels we are still right in the middle of it

And fundamentals : new businesses accepting btc, adoption growing, finance sector that will collapse in the USA and Europe, fiat currencies that will be inflated to dea.th, I am not the one saying that last one, Yellen and Draghi told us they want more inflation and that they will monetize the debt
I can't control it but I can see new businesses accepting btc everyday + people getting to know what btc is and Bitcoin being more mature so more trustworthy

And most people might be thinking that current price is overvalued as fuck, and it might go down to 100$.
