It's too long to predict lol, but I don't think the crypto will be dead in that year because I am sure that in the future, our life will be on the digital era because now, we see in our daily life, we use almost all digital technology. The crypto technology still on the beginning phase which needs to introduce to the public so they can start to learn, start to use, and spreads the news of crypto. And if this can be done, many people will use the crypto, and we will see the crypto will be in our life. But I wonder if we are still alive or not when that year comes.

Cryptocurrency is still somewhat similar to fiat money. what if someday, that value is not recognized by one powerful individual. let say China or US. its still not a tangible thing that can hold value like gold or other commodities. its bits and byte, but now it seems alot of people are already accepting cryptocurrency. IMHO, its just a trend.

I think crypto will survive and grow up with their own way, ICO project will gone because 40 years is enough to make sure people that this is good and this is bad. I believe the technology ( blockchain ) will go far than we think because technology become our solutions about something and will find way to create better future. For me 2050 is not far but how we can handle crypto right now is more important than that.

Can't really see that distant future about cryptocurrency, for me i will keep my focus on what is close. and the next would be to do our best for the future of cryptocurrency in order to keep having a good time in cryptocurrency world.

2050 year is too far away to know what technologies will be available at that time. If Quantum computers are there, then current cryptography algorithms won't work.
