I'll have to visit that huge flat lithium salt area in Bolivia (or close) before it gets converted in to electric car batteries.

Total nonsense, as long as most cities power plants are run on coal. You are essentially just burning coal in your "electric car."

I really really hope they do because petrol has caused soo many problems in human history. It is the cause of war, famine, and overall dictatorships in this world. We need to get to a more earth friendly, people friendly solution

You can get 12kW out of an electric range outlet. That will charge the biggest Tesla in less than 8 hours. It'll also cost typically $8 in the US for those 8 hours.

So long as electric cars are much more environmentally friendly than petrol i would totally wish it would. I watched a documentary a few years back about electric cars.

I think electric cars will destroy petrol cars. Petrol is running out, and it is too expensive, but electricity is produced by people and it is good for the environment

Electric cars are a fraud. Imagine every car in the world would be electric and with batteries which in some years become toxic waste.
With the pollution to produce a batteries for the e-car i can drive conventional car for 8 years.
The future is water or air powered cars and homes. Show me a 200 liter (55-gallon Barrel) tank on a F1 car

we can make use of the current/future tech.
if it can cut the cost, then why not?
People are working on solar vehicle as well. In a way, we can reduce pollution too.

No
Batteries are extremely damaging to environment, production and disposal.

If you drive an electric car you’re obviously planning for the future. In addition to being counted among the ranks of the “coolest people around”, you’ll be making a difference for the environment, and saving money. Lets go green with eletrical car.
