I think they can try, but they will fail. Actually, this idea seems to me absolutely foolish, because it is doomed to failure and these government actions will only strengthen the demand for anonymous cryptocurrency on the Internet. This is not beneficial to the governments in the first place and I think they will try to come up with a more cunning way to combat anonymity in the cryptocurrency market

Many countries are already banning crypto currencies but there is a very little chance that all the government will 100% ban the crypto currencies in the future.

Not all the countries are in the same thinking. As you can see, many are already adopting the crypto currencies compare to the countries that are banning it. Therefore, my conclusion for this scenario is that there is a 0.1% out of 100% that all the governments will ban the crypto currencies. Instead 80 out 100 will adapt the crypto in the future.

I'm considering to buy and hold some privacy coins for long term. I read some articles and they said governments are taking harsh stances on privacy coins. Do you think they will ban all privacy cryptocurrencies by prohibiting exchanges to list those coins?

This is no longer and issue, the last time I checked, China has cryptocurrency trading under ban but 40+ percent of members of Cryptocurrency ecosystem are from China. Cryptocurency is built to be unstoppable

It is possible that no tough measures will be taken by the state. But exchanges in order to protect themselves and comply with the law, can introduce a mandatory passage of KYC for users who wish to purchase a privacy cryptocurrency. Although in my opinion, it is wrong and we should be able to be anonymous.

I think this is possible because many governments are against anonymous cryptocurrencies to fight money laundering. There may be other reasons for this, but ultimately it can lead to the blocking of exchanges that refuse to delist anonymous cryptocurrencies.

Any government is trying to control everything and withdraw its profits from everything. Of course, the government is against such decentralized assets as a cryptocurrency. But it is good that at the moment technologies are developing in such a way that a cryptocurrency can exist and develop without much fear of the government.

If any government had the intention of banning crypto from his country, it won't just be only privacy coins but anything relating to crypto will be ban entirely, in some countries where government has restrictions on crypto, they didn't limite it to just privacy coins but the entire crypto, so i don't think government really care whether privacy or non privacy crypto, bottom line is they prohibit their citizens from engaging in crypto activities.

No will not happened. Privacy coin is same like other coins, is just that they are more conservative than native blockchain since the transaction held in their network is secured by being anonymous. How does it help the community? Possible tracking of source or someone investigating youre account cannot be revealed. Most hackers are watching transactions and watching those account to spot a prey. In privacy coin this is impossible. So I guess its impossible to remove privacy coin in the system.

Goverment is now fully aware about the benefits of cryptocurrency so I do not think they will banned it but they will surely make some regulation in able to keep safe the new users and have some trust in cryptocurrency.
maybe there are still some governments that don't like Crypto and maybe over time the government that doesn't like it will change their minds so they will like Crypto and will allow it.
Cryptocurrency will be very useful for many people and they know that even though there will be bad things about the negative side of Crypto, they still follow Crypto.

I think not, in any case, there is a limited ways where people can convert their crypto into fiats. Not all countries allow altcoins to be converted to fiats, it will always go through bitcoin or ethereum to be withdrawn, in that case, there is non sense to ban privacy cryptocurrency because it will be useless, just a waste of efforts to consider.

I guess if the government wanted to ban them, they would have done that already. Well, at least it would not become so widespread. Moreover, some countries' positive views on this issue from the beginning of this year indicate that this idea cannot be true.

You can not know in advance what will happen to cryptocurrencies in each country. However, it can be said with confidence that in most countries of the world cryptocurrencies will be allowed and will be used by people in their daily lives.

Here i think no, as i read some news last year ago they will accept crypto and who make a profit from will need to pay some tax, but the law is still not made, and may take some years until they will do this law and trying to get extra money to budget from people who make profit on crypto.

I don't think government vwill ban cryptocurrencies completely. Even though it will be, not for long term. The truth is that everyone wants it to have faster development  and also increase the revenue.
There are few valid reasons why government doesn't like cryptocurrencies.
Since there are no regulations set up and thus no governance on cryptocurrencies trading, it is very difficult for government to keep track of investments from the country.
Every government wants some amount as per taxes applicable from the trading transactions which can increase overall revenue.
Due to not having regulations, government can not set up tax system on such transactions.
And the most important thing is due to not having any governance on trading of cryptocurrencies, there are mostly chances of money laundering, which is not in favor of any of the governments.

the government will not take a chance to oppose the cryptocurrency because they also need the development of cryptocurrency to help for their country economic development but due to some reasons it will not possible still now for lots of country but possibly the future will be helpful for the development of government using their cryptocurrency economic changing method

Here on my country, the opposite is implemented, they do not ban cryptocurrency thus, even way more extending its capabilities through blockchain adoption of mobile applications and local market payment structures. Well, we are just selling vegetables through cryptocurrency.
Would you mind letting me know that which nation do you live, please.
As I said, what governments want is not ban on privacy coins, what they want is be ale to trace transaction histories as well as total value of transactions from privacy coins.
Their ultimate goals might be taxes can be collected from those privacy coins' exchange over time.
Although the thoughts and understanding of every governments about crypto currency are not the same but  I believe you're missing something when said what the government want is not ban on privacy coins which we both know that some governments place ban on Bitcoin because of it decentralized in nature while the supported XRP and EOS cause they are not privacy coins.

There are two things:

1. The governments can't ban these currencies as they are decentralized. It is not possible to ban them.
2. Some of the exchanges are completely anonymous, and it is impossible to implement the restrictions. On top of that, even if the exchanges are banned, there will be peer-to-peer trading and the government can do hardly anything about it.
