I got married and here my wife think gambling is a bad addiction. And it just wastes money. So if that money is saved it will further improve their family. And gambling often develops a person's conscience, which causes chaos in the family. So she often tries to stop me from gambling.

So what is your response to your wife? Do you agree with her or did you decrease your gambling activities? If you do not listen to her, I am sure she would usually fight with you when she sees you gambling. Maybe you gamble only when she is not near you so she would not know?

Depends on the situation, if she thinks that I'm doing really bad gambling habit then I might consider to stop as it means that she cares about me.
However, if I think that I'm not doing something wrong because I know how to gamble responsible then there is no reason for me to stop because I like it.
I have no girlfriend though as I'm married already, so maybe I'll stop gambling if my wife ask me to do it for a good reason.
So far my wife is fine with my gambling activity, she helps me to control my money and time for gambling in order to avoid something worst (addiction).

This depends on the situation. If my girlfriend is being reasonable in making me quit gambling because she is seeing massive changes in me that negatively affects my well-being, our relationship, the people around me, and financial aspect, then I will listen to her. Because I believe that our partners will eventually become our lifetime buddy for richer and for poorer and they just want us to become the best version of ourselves. They have good instincts and gut feeling as well as observational skills which makes their claims reliable. But of course, this still varies.

If you also know it to yourself that gambling is doing so much bad than good to you, then it is your cue to voluntarily stop before things get even worse.

There’s a reason why girls don’t like gambling, though we cannot generalize this one since many gamblers are also a women and they love gambling as much as men like it. If you don’t listen to your girlfriend its fine, just tell them that you are ok and have a assurance that you wont get addict in gambling and will stay focus with your relationship. I believe this is the first question related to this specific gambling topic that i'm talking about!

I imagine several variables need to be analyzed, if in a way, gambling is harming you, your personal and professional life, it is totally valid for you to think about these acts and realize that it is harming you.

But if the person is not addicted to gambling, manages to perform their tasks in their day and in general it doesn't harm them, I don't see this as a critical reason for you to stop gambling.
