Will you trust a project that the one that announced it in the announcement thread is a legendary member even though the legendary has announced that he is not part of the team and was just part of the service he offered.

Let me know your thoughts here.
Maybe some people will take this into consideration, but for me personally, I don't make it into consideration to start investing or participating in the project. I am more focused on the team behind it, how the activeness of the team behind it to respond and update about the projects that are brought to be able to attract investors and develop the projects they bring.

no, because the level does not guarantee that the project is good. many legendary members here are affected by redtrust for promoting scam projects. therefore it is better to do the verification yourself to see if the project is good or bad. it's time we learn to judge, and start trusting our own analysis.

i do not think that trust in projects can be given to any bitcointalk member , from newbie to legendary , there are enough projects that still make it till now which are started with a newbie and that is the same for projects which started with a legendary member

also your question  , when a legendarymember only placed the ANN that will not give any trust for me

I don't, I'll always doing my research on a project before joining on it as a bounty hunter and doing my research still before joining on its IEO/ICO.

But if it is a member that is well-known in handling projects, I'll definitely will do a research but on a minimal time.

I personally don't trust project announced by Legend account holder because there alot of legendary bounty campaign managers who are not good in their field as management concern and I only trust project which the team involves proofs themselves to be the serious, competent and genuine.
Agree you should not trust a project depend who posted it even it is from legendery member.

There are many reasons why.
1. There is a chance that the account is just bought from long time members of course to make it a good look to the project he will be created.
2. Paid by doing this there is also chance that they just post  an announcement and they recieve payment doing it.

I participated in a bounty campaign of a project, announced by a Legendary member, and what I received after a few months of work was only a small money (under $ 20, paid via their token). And this project is still under development (I think it won't success in the future).
So I think you don't need to care the rank of member, who announces a project, this thing is not effect to the success of the project.

It is not enough for me to get convinced to trust a project or even invest in a project that is announced or shared by a legendary member. I need to do my research to check all the information of the project and to make sure that it has a credible team behind the project so I can trust them and eventually, invest my money and just ride the waves towards the future of their project.

I consider the rank of the managers of a campaign when I joining in a campaign. But not all of time they are promoting promising projects, the rank is only a factor that I consider before participating in a campaign.

Depending on, I will first determine if this project is legit and has a unique product.

You should not  just trust the project because it is managing by a legendary member, you should trust a project if they are offering good product that can survive in current market challenges and it has a great team behind that have high credentials.

Yes, the bounty managed by the legendary will not guarantee success, I believe in the team's talk that says they will focus on the project, offer a good product to market their tokens seriously, behind it all there must be a team meeting to discuss the project more continued.

But it's still hard to know if these are really true, I've seen many campaigns with this style.

Team meeting, Make presantation videos showing their faces. Meet the famous crypto exchange owners, while wearing a t-shirt with their token stamped. And all of this scammed at the end.

We can't blame the bounty managers that's why they put rules in the campaign and disclaimer so we know that she/he not the part the project. And don't rely in who is the holding of bounty because even the BM is trusted but the project is turns to scam. Bounty managers do their best and take the responsibility as BM so we can blame them if the project will be failed.

For me, I don't participate in projects just because it is launched by a legendary member but rather I consider the purpose and aims of the project and how feasible its visions are in the real world. This will help me know whether the project coin or token will either end up to be a shitcoin or gem. This project announcers get paid in tradeable coins and do not really care if the project list or don't list their coin or tokens. I trust in the feasible of the project rather than the person announcing it.

It will depends if he has a negative feedback on his profile but some of the legendary accounts has good reputation. And i think it would be better to check the project they are promoting just to make sure that were safe to being scam.

Also i trust those legendary account that has good feedback and checking their created threads and post history.
I agree checking on the user profile is the first thing i would also do because if a legendary member in this forum has a negative feedback, i would start to think if the project that he advertise or promotes was really legitimate because even the project has a good whitepaper people will start to think if he might already have scam or fooled other people to invest in his project that he promotes.

As we can see their are lots of project right now are rank of account Newbie or Member are manage the project. Even if the rank is legendary are manage the project their will be a time that we are not paid in our work if when the project not success.

I think this is not mandatory to believe legendary member. Because he just managed this project ANN service that's it. I am reminded that previous many projects got scam which project ANN promoted by legendary member. Just check out EOSex ANN thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-eosex-the-hybrid-exchange-for-eos-community-ico-successfully-completed-5052625 So, i don't believe legendary members in randomly. Only who guys are well known in thia forum and they have enough trustworthy.

Projects from legendary members still seem reliable than projects from new accounts, scammers won't wait to get ranked to legendary members to scam people but still its not 100% safe to rely on projects from legendary members because we are humans and making mistakes is still part of us, better rely on your research first
