We should check against anyone who made the announcement. Despite being announced by a high-level account. But if it was announced by high accounts I think it would be better able to believe. High-level accounts are sure to mature before they make announcements.

What  will legendary member introduce to the project?this is the question i have to ask, if you talk about the trust and project may not the scam due to  legendary member one of the team i can say yes, chance of scam project will be very low.
but in other hand trusted project something and successful  project something else.

Bounties with hero/legendary members as campaign managers attract more attention than the ones with newbie managers. It`s important for the project to be able to attract more attention, but managers are just one factor in the project, people shouldn`t rely on just managers of bounties, always check everything else about the project before you join their bounty or invest in some new project.
Trust needs to be earned, some hero/legendary members deserved trust. That comes after a few successful bounties, after that you know whom to follow and who should be avoided.

The ICO project, the campaign manager of which will be a member of the forum at the rank of legendary, will cause more trust than with newcomer or other low ranks. He should have a lot of experience and also he should already know that if he deceives, then a few dozen reviews with negative confidence will be provided to him. This forum rank is too expensive to be so indifferent to risk. Therefore, if I see ICO’s signature campaign manager as a legendary participant, I trust him more, although the project itself and its team are still subject to some kind of scrutiny.

Will you trust a project that the one that announced it in the announcement thread is a legendary member even though the legendary has announced that he is not part of the team and was just part of the service he offered.

Let me know your thoughts here.

It is the trust rating that matters, not the forum rank.

That said, I would invest in a project only if I am 100% sure that it is reliable. I won't trust any member to take this decision for me, even in case he is an administrator or moderator here. Anyone who had created an account before 2014 would have become a legendary member by now. All it takes is to make regular posts once in a while.

BTW, legendary accounts (even those with a green trust rating) are available for a small payment in third party websites. Earlier such accounts were available for purchase here as well, but I think they changed the rules.

No, I don't think title or reputation has any thing to do when it come to assert a project. Even more when the announcement thread make by a legendary member that not take part in the project's team.
Kinda red flag too since it's easy to lure in newbie with a big sign "legendary member" so please don't question it and just give me your money.

Definitely Not! everytime I join in any ICO Im just considering all aspect on how the project will function if it was possible to achieve the team's promises etc. and not base on the ranking of who wrote the announcement thread time has change a lot so everyone must aware what we are dealing with specially in crypto.

It adds credibility but not one of the criteria that will make it a legit project, there has been a lot of projects that were announced by higher rank members but they are now gone, higher rank members are not part of the team, they are requested or paid for their service to make an announcement.
Indeed, for projects published by a high-ranking member, what we feel will be a safer feeling because their value and contribution to this forum was at a fairly high level, they were given certain prestige but of course, belief in the virtual world is never complete, safety only increased slightly. To achieve higher safety, we still need to analyze, still need to read information from others, many people with many ideas, all will sum up the value of a project, depends on a legendary member is impossible

Why trust a project because it was announced by a legendary member? many people have forgotten that legendary members are also humans and so far as they are humans, they are capable of everything and could be a holder and announcer of a scam projects. personally I only trust projects I have researched into not necessary because it was announced by a legendary member.

no, even though the project announcement thread is made by legendary members, I do not believe that in the future the related projects that are promoted will succeed. Looking at history throughout 2018, many projects ended scam and many legendary members were involved in managing the project, even until now many gift participants did not receive tokens after the promotion program ended. Therefore, even though the thread is made by a member of legend, I will not fully believe before carrying out further research on the related project.

It is true that one may want to feel safe with a project announced by a legendary member,  but in my opinion, I think what we should always do is to follow our kinds on whichever project we wish to promote sk that if things even turn sideways, we will be rest assured that we made the decisions ourselves and we can bear the brunt easily. But if choosing the project was based on the fact that a legendary member announced it, well it can sure turn out fine, who knows? But I'll advice that you should always follow your heart

Usually, the rank can also be one of the reasons why I chose to join the project. However, we must be more careful and not only see from the Hero / Legendary rank side. Indeed, they usually have more experience. However, we also need to see their track record in promoting the previous project. Is it really legit or a scam? We can also see from analyzing the projects offered.

I would treat it like any other coin. Legendary just means that they've been here for a long time.

I normally check out the legendary status post history, if it's purely only promoting new bounties I tend to stay clear as they're most likely just hoping from any old project to the next without actively taking part in the rest of the forum.

If the Legendary member is trusted and the project is legit, then i will trust it, just like happened with grin, no one knows much about the team or about the coin, but since Theymos start accepting payments on then, then tons of people start trusting in the project. If the Legendary member has bad reputation i would not trust in the service.

I can't say that legendary members can be trusted at the start of their project, because I will first see how the project roadmap and contribute to what products they manage, if I think this project is feasible, of course I will take part in it. .

Do most important thing  about investing in any project is that you need to do your research, because being a Legendary rank help to build trust for the project but remember account can be bought by scammers also and use this to scam others.

All Ranks in my opinion are the same. But usually the higher ones have a lot of experience and they also won't take a bad project. So I always believe in projects that are managed by a high rank like legendary. But, back again to research on the project.

For me, the essence of the project is very important, but who posted the project it does not matter. I will do my own investigation before trusting the project. If the project is good, I will participate in it.
