It just looks more professional for a project to be recommended by a Legendary Member rather than a Newbie account, but nonetheless, that doesn't make it my criteria to invest in a project. It only means that a Legendary member perhaps has more experience in moderating a forum thread than a Newbie has, so it's like a Legendary member providing perhaps a service for the project. I will do my own due diligence of the project and then check to see if it ticks all my boxes, then will decide to invest. It won't matter if the project comes via a Noob account or a Legendary one, but that's just my personal opinion and in no way reflects on what you should be doing as everyone must make their own research and take seriously their investment decisions. Decisions in high-risk investments shouldn't be taken lightly and should be well thought out first.

Will you trust a project that the one that announced it in the announcement thread is a legendary member even though the legendary has announced that he is not part of the team and was just part of the service he offered.

i would say NO from the first feeling. of course it says something when well-known and often popular users hit the side of the project.
but if it is clear from the beginning that this is only about paid help and not real conviction, the advantage changes towards 0.

Undoubtedly, if a legendary forum member creates a topic for a project, then the level of trust in such a project is initially above average. However, no one says that such announcements should be thoughtlessly followed. No one forbids you to think with your own head, to independently evaluate the material and weigh risks Wink

Even legendary member post the new ANN thread an ICO, i still need to research about that project. No matter what member's rank to post, but its no guarantee if they just want to scamming us. And you can see many thread that posted by Senior and Legend have been abandoned so long

But Legendary member should also check if the project is really that good, a project partakes of the reputation of the legendary, that is why we seldom see projects being promoted openly by legendary as a thread creator, we have seen high-rank members participating in a bounty campaign, they both don't have a difference.

Right, they must make sure that project not scam, i don't care about price. Many bounty manager just said "I'm not part of team, i just manage bounty campaign" or something like that. Its mean they don't know about what they will promote. Just think about himself, when he already posted an ANN then he get payment.

So if the project cannot be ensured success if the thread is created a legendary account, but that is not a benchmark for me to look for a good project that can be valued on its own if there is a project that promises there will continue to follow its development.

Sincerely speaking, if I were a newbie I would do less research on a project seeing that it's from a Legendary member of this reputable platform. Legendary members are the highest ranking members of this community and are often respected more because of their wealth of experience. But then, its still imperative to always personally research on any project you wish to invest into. The Acronym DYOR can never be overemphasised

Depending on the reputation of the account. If the account has experience in this market and is published then I will definitely trust it, and if the account is purchased then it is definitely a scam project.

a high ranking is no guarantee that the project handled by the bounty manager will be successful.  need to be explored more thoroughly, previous portfolio, character, and professionalism in running a bounty.my advice, don't make the ranking of the bounty manager as a reference, focus on the performance and quality of the project and its allocation.  because many successful bounties are handled by the developer team themselves with their own accounts.  usually raised to a copper member to be more interactive in displaying information.

Getting a legendary account here isn't easy to risk it at this moment when negative trust is given for opening an ANN or bounty thread on this forum so I do trust them because they do their due diligence before making these threads.

Why not as long as his reputation is good and to make sure before investing study well the project to avoid losing funds and to avoid blaming to the other because we are the responsible of our funds or money we need to always be secured or investment.

if he announced that he is not part of the team then we can only focus on the project,
what if the promoter has a negative trust ? or if its a newbie , or if he is a user that has a bad history before ?  we cant deny to question his account because why would they hire this user to promote thier project  . simillar scenario like this are happening lately

the team and the concept, it's not really new here, some high-rank members offer this kind of service, the project developer is doing this, so all the images and banners of the team will show up in their announcement thread.
this isnt required to hire other higher rank members because even a newly created accounts can now post an image buy just buying a coopper membership but they can still hire a high level account ( the trusted  one ) so that they can easily gain trust from the public  .

overall it does not matter at all to me if the promote is a newbie or a legend but as long as his account his clean and as long as he uses a trusted escrow if involves money/crypto related deals

I do trust this legendary members yahoo62278 and Hhampuz, all legendary members project shouldn't trust. I don't believe negative trust member or red flag member. yahoo62278 has some low volume project like MOZO token.

For me it will give some sort of reputation if you see high ranks announcing some project. But then again, this not a good gauge because we have seen some reputable member as well being involved in a scam project. I won't mentioned names here, but I'm sure bounty hunters are more familiar with them. I think this is the trend in 2017 and it was not that pronounce because we are in the bull. But since we went to a more than 1 year bearish trend, it's not that effective anymore as investors here and bounty hunter are looking or should look at the project itself and the entity behind.

I will trust whatever user as long as he has some history here on bitcointalk and actually knows how things works. Myself, I opened a lot of threads but I always make sure I'm in contact with CEO and we have call on skype and after I can continue to read his whitepaper and all the other stuff. Also if the project is listed on good ico ratings sites and have some strong articles out there that is a plus for the project. If I can't even talk with the CEO on a webcam I won't even bother to make the thread , simple as that.

The announcement of a project by a hero or legendary member of this forum does not move me an inch,
Likewise, the announcement from a newbie or brand new account does not freak me either

In every crypto currency projects, there are prospects and reality; it is up to every individual to do their researches, and find out when to get in and out of projects in profits (NO LOSS).

for example, i have seen bounties by junior member bounty manager pay, when hero bounty managers flops. and vice versa
so just DYOR.

If it is a shit project, it does not matter if it is announced by a legendary member. This could be a sign of quality, but nothing replaces your own research, so be advised and always invest some time to investigate each project.

I can decide to trust a project introduced by legendary member or even jr member because it depends on the projects its self not the rank of the person introducing the project, nobody is perfect when it comes to crypto, even good looking or promising project can die or succeed

Exactly, there are many legendary members who promoted a scam project during their ICO, sometimes it is impossible for them to find exactly what is happening because everything about the project seems to be very impressive but after the conclusion of the ICO, we might understand the project is already dead.
