I haven't tried windows 10 but I can say windows 7 is fast, secure and stable.
I have tried both windows 10 and windows 7. I like windows 7 because its fast not faster than windows 10 but even then it has ability to stop updates and most important no one(microsoft) can spy on you/collect your personal data in windows 7.

Window 7 for sure
windows 10 faster but not stabbilly work. Win 7 very strong.
Always a fan of Window 7, will move on once they stop providing support for it

I used win 7 and wim 8.1 and now i use win10 i think win7 was best versiyon wın 10 still not ready 8.1 had too much problem
I'm using Windows 10 since the technical previews in 2014, still going strong.
