Every opinion is relative to when you bought I can say I am very happy I invested in altcoins because I had a lot to profit from it . First of all not all altcoin a are the same most are scam and second right now is a long bear market hopefully we start seeing green and you could change your mind towards altcoins
If you got the altcoins by some bounty or was given or was provided without any monetary exchange then all is fine and I can have all the altcoins and shitcoins I can possibly have and just stack it inside my computer. If any one of them gives good profits after holding them for years then I would be truly grateful that I was able to keep it while it was down.
Would have been much better off just leaving everything in bitcoin. Altcoins suck.
The opinion of the person who burned at the first choice of altcoins. They are much more difficult to trade than bitcoin, but the more interesting and they require maximum aging and steel nerves, well, a little more luck. So I do not agree with you that the violas are bad, on the contrary more opportunities and profits.
Perhaps you have failed severely while investing in the Crypto market. But do not be discouraged, be resilient and continue to research and analyze the market, watching that failure is a valuable lesson for yourself.
There are some more potential and promising altcoin that if invested in,though may take time for them to reach a price that is very profitable but they can be very profitable if you hold them on long term because they have the potentials to grow and increase in price if they are more dominated and people accept their blockchain. If you have enough money, you can buy bitcoin and some stable altcoin and hold them on long term to enjoy reasonable profit.

Maybe for those people who could afford on the price of bitcoin but for me I just need to roll my time in searching for a good altcoins that may rise in a few months and I know it's risky but if the price pumps x3000 your profits will be exponential. Although this also needs luck but I'm hoping I can find and be lucky. 
People are always saying this, but at the end, they just regret because all the altcoins are going to go up at some point, only that it takes a lot of times, and now that we are on a bearish market it takes more
Don't be to harsh about altcoins, it's maybe you buy an altcoins that's not have a potential to grow. Many factors can be considered regarding your losses, might be due to bad timing because of bitcoin's time to shine pump and of course nobody knows how long it will be, maybe you are just having a bad time investing in alt, another thing is if you bought some bad alts in the first place. Losses are part of the cryptocurrency anyway.

Though Bitcoin in the king of crypto currency and has been on the front line so far, altcoin has also been profitable to many and this is entirely a subjective mater what you think about altcoin. May be you have not traded alt in the right time if you are a trader or may be the decision of buying alt was made in a point in time when the altcoin was not as profitable as other currencies. Whatever you do and how you do matters in the crypto business. If you bought the ETH when it was around $2, then you made good profit.
I truly wish you luck in all your forthcoming investments. I have some friends who had similar experience to yours. For me it has been a different experience, I built my portfolio with alt coins not all were successful but I got some very good ones that set me sailing. Currently I have my eyes on an upcoming ICO, Nynja. It usually is a hit and miss story but I think Nynja will be a hit 
. My point is with the right alt coin it always is a different picture, I am hoping something comes your way and put a really big smile on your face

I do not understand why did you bought altcoins on the past if you were gonna regret in a near future? it just does not make any sense at all, i would not buy if i will regret latter.. that is a very dumb thing to do
I think altcoin investment is a pretty good direction. You may have purchased a discounted altcoin, but do not worry too much. From this point to the end of the year the altcoin will rise again. You need to closely monitor the altcoin that you invest to have the best direction for yourself.

A lot of people said that during the last few years, and they regret about not buying more during those times when it was extra cheap (remember when Ripple was less than one cent) came on guys.
Why you angry with altcoins? Brcause except to bitcoin one of the best way to grow your bitcoin is the altcoins because the price of the altcoins is very cheap and once the price increase the possible you get is very high. The more you have altcoins the more profit you get.
Sadly one of my friends have that same feeling. He jumped into cryptocurrencies just to make money and he dropped like 1/3 in dollar value. Now he regretted getting into altcoin markets he seek for bitcoin investments.
Yes, some people venture into the investment market without even thinking that they are risky, they do not know what equipment to equip before entering, that is the mistake we see in New people, maybe they have failed to draw on the market experience.
