I bought for 2ETH worth of GVT. Best investment I ever made to date. This includes stocks I bought over 15 years and homepages which generated revenue x 10 purchase price. I also bought Wolk and it is priced 0,0001% of my purchase price but I am sure price will pick up eventually.
Just wait until the price of bitcoin stabilizes, then watch how the prices of the popular altcoins rise and go even higher than they were before, these fluctuations can be expected sooner in time.
Actually Dash and Monero are holding their %increase against BTC pretty well looking back the last 3 months.
Litecoin has been doing quite well too.

This is just the cycle, it has happened before and will happen again. Against USD there has been an increaqse to your value, against BTC however has seen a fall.

Felt bad about that bro, Maybe you had a right alt coins at a wrong time in a sense that maybe it is bitcoins time to keep on pumping to more than 10k but time comes that it will dump.

What do you think of alts now?
When I bought altcoins bitcoin wasn't doing shit and altcoins were going parabolic. It's obvious i got in Alts too late and ha rode them down. Anyone who got in to Alts after the alt boom in the spring is way down vs bitcoin. I was hopeful Alts would turn around but after this month it's becoming unlikely that Alts will ever reach an ath again vs bitcoin.
I think you are right and you should have known this before that BTC is a very superior currency and no altcoin can beat its profit. BTC profit is very high as compared to other altcoins. BTC can give you a proper stable income if you stay with and and not always hop over more profit and invest in alts.Trust bitcoin and it will make you a millionaire one day.

I sometimes do feel like this, but that's just because I look back at the Bitcoins I exchanged to get my current bag of alts. It looks like I've lost almost half of my money when I compare like that, but then it's important to remember that this is regret talking, available because of hindsight. Remember that diversification is the primary rule to follow with investments. Sure, we could have made much more if we invested all in BTC, but what if it didn't rise like this?
By buying altcoins with Bitcoins, we diversify, and we move risk away.

I gave away my valuable bitcoins for alts 4 months again. Still holding the heavy bags, it makes me sad every day to think of the bad decision I made.
No problem man! You can start again now. There are many altcoins for you now. Or if you dislike them, you can choose Bitcoin for long time
Yes, many altcoins started to recover their prices, some of them have pumped fast, and some are recovering slowly, I am happy with ethereum price, Dash has pumped too.All of have been saying the same thing after 1 august hard fork where the upward trend of alt coins were destroyed permanently. We have big loss with alt coins, hopefully, we'll have profit in 2018 in alt coins.
