What browser are you using because Chrome seems to be not a really good one for this site, I don't know if I am the only one that has that problem which is good since it is my fault that the site isn't working, I have shitty Internet though so I don't know which is which.
Chrome, Brave, Firefox. What to choose is personal choice but I would prefer to choose FireFox to use.

Chrome is under Google control and what Google do with their search engine database, user information is clear. Brave browser has bad reputation because they broke the mission and slogan that they focus on privacy of users. Later, they required users to do KYCs if want to claim BAT tokens.

Overview on browsers. Which one should we use? Support free web while browsing.

Good input! I personally use Firefox as well!

you are absolutely right that people here like to think of bitcointalk being the holy grail...
-snip-

Lol , this was exactly my feeling for several years ( and I was wrong btw) : this forum was my main and almost only source of cryptorelated info for many years .. since 2013 to 2017 ... then I started to meet crypotprojects ( mainly ICO during 2017 ico frenzy) who weren't advertised here and I was like "how the hell it is possible" lol

This forum still remains my first and main source of infos, the ones I consult more often..but along with many others nowadays.
People would realize that when they do go out on the box.For those who had solidly started and dependent or relying any info that they could get into this forum
would really have impression that this place had everything but to go into the other side of things you can actually see other alternatives or viable sources.

I am not even referring to specific platforms - the key is google and SEO - you are absolutely right that people here like to think of bitcointalk being the holy grail... well, it`s not... Wink
It isn't the holy grail or anything. We are just implying that it helps a crypto gambling site(New or Old) in a big way due to various reasons that we mentioned above.

https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/bitcointalk.org

Above Alexa ranking is just one of those reasons. We are providing our opinions based on facts to back them up basically.

And I am saying it’s a total exaggeration - as simple as that. Plus I wasn’t referring directly to you.

Correct bitcointalk is at the top if we talk about numbers of crypto users but its also good to market outside since there are also crypto users who doesn't use bitcointalk at all, many of them stay on the platform mentioned by efialtis so if they do multiple campaigns on various platform well possibly they can hit the greater audience and bring them here to play.
Not only bitcointalk which is bigger there are indeed several platforms that can reach a bigger audience to bring the community to play on their site, so it's true that some don't know the bitcointalk forum even though we think of it here as the biggest and most successful marketing in gambling so every platform will definitely hold a campaign to attract attention with a lot of promotions, therefore they will enter all platforms to expand the campaign with many contests being held.

Doing some marketing kind of stuff on bitcointalk every once in a while definitely does make sense but there are much (much much) more important channels in order to really increase volume.

Some people just seem to overestimate the importance of bitcointalk when it comes to player acquisition - I used to do, too. Wink
I understand your point of view, but I disagree with you on some points. When it comes to cryptocurrencies, Bitcointalk stands on top when compared to Reddit, YouTube, Twitter etc in terms of gambling discussion etc in my opinion.

This is what I observed over the years. Stake, Roobet etc are some of the best examples to prove how vital Bitcointalk was in making them successful.

Yes and although you might be right that bitcointalk is first in terms of gambling discussion, not everybody is interested in discussing gambling. Youtube and so on are good platforms to do marketing as well. It is a lot about visibility.

There is no issue on my end. It is most probably a problem on your end. You probably skipped the captcha too which needs to be filled out in order to access the site currently.

Running signature campaigns to help promote their site is just one of many ways to attract gamblers. An alternate method is to run regular contests like Roobet, Duelbits, Crypto-Games etc in the 'Games and Rounds' section.

Wolf.bet should hire someone reputable to manage these contests(Wagering, Deposit, Finding stuff etc). This method has become quite popular in recent times.

TBH & of course just my opinion - it`s indeed one way to attract "gamblers" here on bitcointalk but truth is, as busy as the gambling sections may seem, the amount of actual gamblers is very low. Doing some marketing kind of stuff on bitcointalk every once in a while definitely does make sense but there are much (much much) more important channels in order to really increase volume.

As someone who got into this gambling business yourself, even if not as casino but a place that reviews them basically, would you say that signature campaigns still do bring people and worth their cost, or would you prefer to spend that money on somewhere else? This is important for both people who do it, and people who are employed by them like us.

I believe it may not be as great as some other options like you said, but I never knew what those options were, I just had some "this is good but there must be something better" but I never really went out and searched for it since I do not own any casino so why would I spend time on that, but now that you are here, and you know these things, maybe you can share that. I still hope wolf.bet does a huge signature campaign, that is always good to get others who play on different casinos, it can't be all zero, I believe that will be worth it.

I think their signature campaign last time was a success, maybe they think they can attract new players and make old players stay because of the contests, bonuses, and other promotions that they are currently and will be doing later on. But I believe, doing more promotions here in bitcointalk, will be a good help as a promotion.

You're right. There will be a mistake to think that all your customers i.e. gamblers are on 1 platform - this goes for any industry, really. This forum is great but there are many more out there like Reddit where people will show their talent. SO it is worth while investing in getting some analysis done to capture as much of the market as possible.

Don't expect they will disclose here, being a sort of trade secret, but would be interesting to know how much signature campaign are able to generate traffic for their site : I personally feel their presence on this forum, with signatures displayed all over it for long time, gives me a feeling of institutionalization and general recognition more than promo and giveaways.
But again, curious about cost/benefit ratios of both marketing tools and what is more effective in the long run.
I have been part of one website before (for telegram community management so I was just an employee that got paid and wasn't part of the core team) and I have seen results of signature campaigns.

I can tell you that it helps, it definitely helps, the question was always "does the cost worth the benefit?" and not "does it benefit?" because we knew it did. I remember one day we started on signature campaign and that day we got like 300+ people join our telegram group on the first day, we had 2k people for 6 months and after just 1 day of telegram it was already 300 more people, and over course of 1 month we reached to total of 5k as well, so other days were quite busy as well even if not as much.

I think that is why it is quite clear that signature campaigns help but I am still not sure if it worths the cost of doing it because you may do some other marketing that would pay less but get the same result, or maybe not, we didn't know.

Thanks for answering, definitely agree with you on this. Also gambling site peculiarity is beside traffic on site they have to take in consideration how much wagered on their games that traffic brings and therefore they should go into deeper analisys than the simple "number of new users" one.
