New Zealand and West Indies both qualified for the Semi-Final by chance as in the group stages, New Zealand was going out but they won their last game and qualified for the semi-final and India was out of the tournament while almost similar journey by the West Indies team in group B now who will win the title? The final will be played tomorrow in Dubai.

Seeing the performance of the West Indies women's team, I remembered the match between Bangladesh and India in the semi-final long ago in which Bangladesh lost by just one run.

Anyway, the prediction of the final match is a bit tuff because I was expecting that the final will be played between Australia and New Zealand but it didn't happen there South African women's team beat Australia women's team and reached the final. Australian women's team was the most favorite team in this ICC Women's T20 World Cup and they have not lost any match so far, South African women's team has managed to beat them.
And on this side if I say the Australian women team was able to defeat New Zealand in the first-round group match so the chances of winning this final match will be more than the South African women team in my opinion.

The second semi-final match of the Women's T20 World Cup was a thrilling one as both teams tried their best to win the match till the last minute. The West Indies Women's team's performance in the tournament was relatively good even as they comfortably defeated England Women's team to qualify for the semi-finals.

West Indies Women's batsmen against England Women's team, their team's opening batsmen batted brilliantly which made it easy for them to win the match. However, while they batted well against England, they did not bat well against New Zealand which resulted in their first wicket falling for just 16 runs, which put them under pressure from the start in this match. Although the opening batsmen of West Indies had a poor performance but they were batting well against a small run target, unfortunately came at the last minute and were defeated by just eight runs and exited this year's T20 World Cup.

So I was doing some research on the teams that have reached the finals. I found out that Sout Africa is far better team that the New Zealand team. The problem here is that some of the best teams in women cricket got defeated by a weaker side. Therefore I think New Zealand will be the new winner this year. While Australia were hot favorites from the start of this World Cup tournament, Australia defeated South Africa Women's team by 8 wickets in the semi-final and confirmed the final of the World Cup. It was really a harsh day for the West Indies or I must say that they had a bad luck that they could not chase the small target of 128 runs only. West Indies women did great bowling and Deandra Dottin took 4 wickets but all these efforts went in vain when their batsmen could not chase the score.

At the end of the first innings, I was confident that West Indies would win and go through to the finals but who knew that New Zealand had other plans. We saw some mind-blowing bowling by Eden Carson who took 3 wickets and Amelia Kerr who took 2 wickets. It was a good team effort by the NZ that denied the West Indies women a place in the finals.

They surprised everyone by qualifying for the finals, though. I hope that this is the turning point for both these teams, and they can recoup and regain the past glory.

New Zealand team qualified to play in the final after 14 years after defeating the West Indies team in the Women's T20 World Cup. It was very lucky for the New Zealand team as they won by just 8 runs against a strong team like West Indies. The match was very exciting and in the end New Zealand got the desired victory in a lot of drama. I would say they got revenge by winning against West Indies because New Zealand lost to them by 6 runs in 2016 and got that revenge 8 years later.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat but scored only 128 runs despite needing more runs. It is very difficult to fight in the game with this low number of runs in T 20 matches but through controlled bowling, West Indies managed to restrict the team to just 120 runs and New Zealand team left the field with victory.

Both New Zealand and South Africa have managed to reach the finals for the first time. But New Zealand is more likely to become champions than South Africa because South Africa is a team that has participated in important events more than once but never won. However, the New Zealand team has never won the championship despite participating in the finals several times. But this time, New Zealand seems to be the favorite in my view.
