Once again New Zealand were unable to chase around 290 total and all out at 215. This time New Zealand bat a little better as we have saw them in the previous match, where in order to chase a similar sort of total (in the 2nd ODI), they were all out for 122 runs.
New Zealand didn't have the right combination or talent in their batting line up and this is a big hurdle for them in this series. Congratulations India -W team to win 1 st odi game and they won past series T20 with opponent West indies -W team and their effort in this series was poor now again they showed such worst effort in 1 st odi game and Indian team set a competitive runs 314 in target in 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. Smirti showed brilliant effort in opening and she made 91 runs in 102 balls and hitted thirteen 4s and she got a player of game award but she close to century and 9 more runs to complete unfortunately she lost wicket. Deol also showed great effort and she made 44 runs in 50 balls and hitted two 4s and one 6s. West indies failed to chase all runs as well they did not reach close to target but lost all wickets for 103 runs only. This was big lose of West indies -W team and 2 more games left Indian-W team will win this series again.
