Working overseas is really a big sacrifice. People make this sacrifices because sometimes, working in other countries can earn us a lot of money. That money is for the family and can give a better life to them. but now, thanks to social media and technologiea, homesick is lesser as they tend to videocall everyday unlike before, you need to call them via telephone and pay a lot of money.

Hey guys,I just wanted to share some tips when you are planning to work outside your country or if you wanted to work abroad.
First you need to know things about the country you are planning to go or work.Knowing their cultures and tradition will help you a lot when you are already there.
Second is to know the rules of your target country. Some country especially in middle East have very strict rules and  if you guys come from an open city then u have to adjust a lot in their rules.
Third and most important is be mentally, emotionally and physically prefered.,you will come there to work. You need to sacrifice a lot of things and even your family. As for my experience homesickness is very hard to beat especially when you are used to do things with your love ones like celebrating ocassions. Here you will celebrate those days alone.
So if you guys have other tips on working abroad please comment here and share your thoughts.
I hope this topic can help people who wanted to go to other country for work.I wish you goodluck guys.!

I agree. It is actually the hardest sacrifice that a parent or any member of the family for his/her love for the family. Working abroad will take a lot of courage because it is challenging and is full of trials and obstacles. Living each day without the presence of the people we love is so hard to survive.

Indeed. When working abroad we have to be ready to stay far away from our family which is not easy. Then homesickness will be the first thing we feel. However I think today's technology can help us to get out of the situation. We can make a call through a video (video call) or communicate with social networks (facebook, Twitter,  etc) to keep communicating in order to avoid loneliness. By having communication so often,  it could reduce the homesickness and to cure our longing.

I totally agree! Aside they are miles miles apart from their families, they have to deal and associate with other people that different race and has different culture. The biggest sacrifice for them is missing their family and they have no one they can run when they have problems.

although it is a great sacrifice as you leave your family and loved ones behind to go and work in someone's country, it also helps especially the young to be independent. Besides it also helps you to make new friends outside your country.

Yea its really sacrificing because we need to live away from the locality and peoples with whom we grew up. its hard really

If you want a decent job and a bright future, then you should be open to relocating to the major cities. Even I was born in a small hilly village. I moved to one of the largest cities in India for education and now I am settled here. I miss my native village, but I am quite contented with my new life as well.

Indeed, working abroad is a lot of sacrifice. It requires any kind of sacrifices. Truly, people who worked abroad is the new hero of today's world. They endure the pain of not being with their family. They serve other people not because they do not want to serve their own family but because they want for their family to have a good life and a better future. Working abroad means being alone. They may have been busy for them not to notice or have coworkers that make them feel that they have family but at the end of the day, all they are thinking about is their own family. It is hurtful for them not to look for their child, not for them to watch their children grow. It is also painful for them that they aren't in the side guiding their child in their journey. However, despite their longing for their family and the overall pain, they choose to endure and resist it, mainky because they are ready to sacrifice.

I agree, that working abroad is a lot of sacrifice, just to earn money and send it to your family. And also the  when youre in the country you've working for, a lots of adjustment to your self and to the people around. Being homesick to your love ones the big trials that you would to cope with. But keeping in mind that your there for the good and happiness of your family left to your country.
