Some people force to sacrificed their self to work abroad for the reason that they can sustain their family needs.Because they can earn a big salary even if they are not safe.

Obviously, if you are low-skilled, then you can't expect to land high-paying jobs. In order to earn more wages, you may need to travel to places where there is a shortage of blue-collar workforce. I wouldn't classify it as a "sacrifice".

I agree to that it is really a big sacrifice for you have to leave the country and be away with your family and loved ones. Its not easy to live far away from people you treasure and knowing that when your from other country you will have to familiarize their cultures. Sacrificing to live alone and working hard. I salute those people who works abroad.

Hey guys,I just wanted to share some tips when you are planning to work outside your country or if you wanted to work abroad.
First you need to know things about the country you are planning to go or work.Knowing their cultures and tradition will help you a lot when you are already there.
Second is to know the rules of your target country. Some country especially in middle East have very strict rules and  if you guys come from an open city then u have to adjust a lot in their rules.
Third and most important is be mentally, emotionally and physically prefered.,you will come there to work. You need to sacrifice a lot of things and even your family. As for my experience homesickness is very hard to beat especially when you are used to do things with your love ones like celebrating ocassions. Here you will celebrate those days alone.
So if you guys have other tips on working abroad please comment here and share your thoughts.
I hope this topic can help people who wanted to go to other country for work.I wish you goodluck guys.!

Working far away from home and family really needs a lot of sacrifice. You have to endure your first few months from homesickness. News of ofw's going nuts because they cannot overcome their homesickness.

I am quite surprised to hear all this. Why anyone should be home-sick, especially at this age? Now there are a lot of options to maintain contact with the family members, such as Skype, Whatsapp, Facebook.etc. Technology has made the world really small. That was not the case 20 year ago. Back then, even a single 2-minute phone call used to cost a fortune.

Working abroad is not an easy thing to do. If you have a family there and you know the people there, then yes, it is something that you can do.

Yes working abroad is a lot of  sacrifice because you leave your country and need to adopt the customs and tradition of the place whom you will intend to work, and you need to observe their basic law, and the worst is you leave your children and your partner in life in a years, you need to fight homesick and depression  while working abroad.

Obviously, if you want to work in a foreign nation, then you have to observe the local laws and customs. You can't go to a country such as Saudi Arabia, and engage on homosexual orgies openly. You need to respect the local traditions and you must have at least a working knowledge of the local language.

Yeah it's a lot of sacrifice. You will get homesick and you can't assure that someone will really care at you when you are in abroad.
