I also try not to live with expats but rather the local community, which i much prefer. Glad to see others people talking of sacrafice, its not always easy like people back home say

Hey guys,I just wanted to share some tips when you are planning to work outside your country or if you wanted to work abroad.
First you need to know things about the country you are planning to go or work.Knowing their cultures and tradition will help you a lot when you are already there.
Second is to know the rules of your target country. Some country especially in middle East have very strict rules and  if you guys come from an open city then u have to adjust a lot in their rules.
Third and most important is be mentally, emotionally and physically prefered.,you will come there to work. You need to sacrifice a lot of things and even your family. As for my experience homesickness is very hard to beat especially when you are used to do things with your love ones like celebrating ocassions. Here you will celebrate those days alone.
So if you guys have other tips on working abroad please comment here and share your thoughts.
I hope this topic can help people who wanted to go to other country for work.I wish you goodluck guys.!
Going abroad is a very difficult thing that happened in our life.sacrificing is the biggest decision that we incountered in our life.leaving our family, especially our kids is a biggest sacrifices.adopting languages and cultures also to the place where we belong.it is very hard to be alone, far from family but we need to sacrifice all of these because we want to build a good future for them.

Overseas employment requires sacrificing far away from the family ,especially when you do  not know the consequences of your arrival abroad, you have a lot of difficulties before you reach the life expetancy of your life, you endure the hard work for your loved ones family.

What is the problem for these authorities if the expat workers bring their families? I have seen that in most of the GCC nations (such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates), they don't allow the blue collar workers to bring their families. This in turn causes a lot of trouble, as these workers are able to visit their families only once every three or four years.

I agree, You will also feel the importance of your family's presence when you are alone in other country working. The sacrifice of being away from them just to give them a better life is one of the way to show them how much we love them. Sadly, there are family members who also take advantage of the person who is working abroad. My prayer is that all of the people can stay in their own country with better opportunities so that they don't have to leave their families. Its not always about the money we can give but also our presence and time to bond with them.

So true. One of the reasons why a family is broken is because of the family member that is miles away from them. Their situation is very hard especially if you're debating between starvation and money. I also hate the fact that some family members doesn't even feel sympathy towards their family member. I mean, they should put themselves in their member's situation if they were to work abroad. They are not living a good life there either. Can't they just be optimistic and try to understand the situation 'cause that's the only thing they can help to that certain family member.

Lack of parental guidance or they seek for attention is now a cliched excuse for those who are left behind, especially those who are in the right age and doesn't seem to mature at all. If you let all the negativities of life come to you, you never know happiness is. Can't we stop finding reasons why we are sad? Can we start finding things that will make us happy and fulfilled?

That's why bitcoin is there. Maybe of the purposes of its existence is to help people who are working abroad.

Working abroad is so hard sacrifices always do in every person who go abroad.they sacrife because they lack of finances to support their family if they stay in their country. As i can see many family was broken because of that sacrifice the wife or husband they left is cheated them or their children go to the wrong way.So better not to go abroad stay in our own country and work hard.

Yeah, you have to leave your family, your girlfriend, your favorite meal ,.... to earn money. It's a big sacrifice, maybe you're interesting in the begin but things will turn to boring soon.

For our loved ones working abroad every time we expend their tough earned money, we need to be always have a consideration the hardships, sacrifices and loneliness that they had to go through for our sake. Being alone in a place we you are not familiar is hard. You need to learn the culture and be socialize.

Working abroad is not easy especially if you are far away from your love ones. At the first step of the country that you will be there will have a very big adjustment for weather, culture, environment and etc. You need to be socialize so that you will familiar in the place where will you been. And especially you need to be brave enough to live alone.

i agree with you, when we travel abroad, we will be apart from our family and lost contact with many friends, the stress and missing family can make us feel sad, and work ineffective.

Working abroad takes a lots of sacrifices because you cannot predict what will be your life on that certain job, you can suffer from lots of kinds of abuses just like what the other experiences but for the sake of your own and your family's future you will take the risk and for to make the story short working abroad is putting your own life on the line and it is only a one in a million sacrifices you should deal in working abroad.

When you work abroad, you're taking jobs away from those who live there, unless you're teaching them how to speak the language of your country.

I'm only playing though, it's ok to work abroad, but you have to worry about those who might be resentful.

If you do it by your will - I do not consider it as a sacrifice.
Its only a sacrifice when you are posted there by your superiors and you have no say in the matter, but ii really see it as sacrifice especially since you are going to leave all the people you know and love behind and try to adapt to a whole new culture and their way of life as well. It can be very difficult.
