Yeah. It So so hard working abroad. It is easier to study the culture and rules for the country where you will be working for a couple of years or more than that than to make yourself preferred mentally and emotionally for the fact that you will be away from your family. Your most concern for this big decision and when you where already in abroad lots of adjustments. And the hardest and saddest part is when your family is broken while you are away from them.

Hey guys,I just wanted to share some tips when you are planning to work outside your country or if you wanted to work abroad.
First you need to know things about the country you are planning to go or work.Knowing their cultures and tradition will help you a lot when you are already there.
Second is to know the rules of your target country. Some country especially in middle East have very strict rules and  if you guys come from an open city then u have to adjust a lot in their rules.
Third and most important is be mentally, emotionally and physically prefered.,you will come there to work. You need to sacrifice a lot of things and even your family. As for my experience homesickness is very hard to beat especially when you are used to do things with your love ones like celebrating ocassions. Here you will celebrate those days alone.
So if you guys have other tips on working abroad please comment here and share your thoughts.
I hope this topic can help people who wanted to go to other country for work.I wish you goodluck guys.!

Going abroad to work is challenging but it pays if your country of origin has low income earners and the new country has more cash to offer for your work. But the switching from one culture to another , is not easy to cope with it. With time things will normalize.

Come on guys! Don't be one-sided like traffic on a street in a big city.

Running abroad from a difficult state to live into the EU or the USA - could be like running from hell to a paradise place.
Don't be hypocrites, many peeps find it awesome to run and work and live abroad. Those poor dudes would eat dirt in their home countries without hope to get a better chance for life.

So - Working Abroad is a lot of Happiness for Some Lucky Bastards!

Throw a stone to me, who ran from cheeckeebookie-stan where all the cheecheebookies live and feels unhappy in the EU or the USA. Or if you feel home sick - get the fuking back home guys.

Cheerio to each one of you!

I would recommend you spend as much time with your family as you can, and also set aside time each day to have Skype video calls with them.

You have a lot more courage than I do because I would not be able to move away from my loved ones to work abroad.

Yes its true. A lot of sacrifice because they are far from their love ones, working hard for their family, caring of people there not connected. Its hard for OFW's to work abroad but they need to do it for their families, so they have a money to buy foods and anything they need. We should be proud to our OFW's in many country.

Absolutely right, thanks for the advice. Working abroad is hard you need to be prepared emotionally, mentally and physically. I really admired those people working abroad for their family.
Right. You must be ready for great difficulties, a language barrier, etc. But often the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and it's worth it.  To be honest, I dream of moving abroad...

wroking abroad is very hard and a lot of sacrifice.

1, you need to be away from your family and have your life alone  overseas
2, You are working in a place new to you and no one to lean on in hard times
3, you need to save money and adjust your meal in order to send money back home for the family you left.
4, your life is not sure that  your safe ,

its really a sacrifice,i experience it from my sister, from her first time to work abroad its quite difficult. She always cry every time we talk to her.Even she is denying it. Aside from being far from your love ones the other problem is if your employer is not kind.So think before you leave your country and work abroad.

A lot of members from my family are working abroad. Some leave their own family just to strive for more money to send back home. My dad works abroad for more than 10 years now and leaving home is really hard for him. It’s a sacrifice for the ones you love.

Yes, working abroad needs a lot of sacrifices and courage to spent a day without your family. However, on today's technology we can easily use such as Skype, Video calling through messenger or even have a call through our phone, we cannot deny the fact that they are lacking in the times they are with us especially during Christmas and birthdays.

Yes it is a lot of sacrifice. To work abroad means leaving your family and everything that you are used to or comfortable with. An overseas worker will experience a lot of things. It will be a major adjustment in terms of religion, beliefs, norms etc. They will be living with unknown people which make it more difficult for them. They also need to adjust in the working environment - this is the hardest part in my opinion. I admire those people who work abroad because they will sacrifice their happiness just to fulfill their dreams and provide financial support for their family.

I agree with this. Many Filipino going abroad to earn money for their families. They need to sacrifice all their time to spend in abroad to earn a money for their families because they think that in their job in the Philippines is not enough to fulfill the needs of their family because the salary is not enough for their everyday needs.
