Hey guys,I just wanted to share some tips when you are planning to work outside your country or if you wanted to work abroad.
First you need to know things about the country you are planning to go or work.Knowing their cultures and tradition will help you a lot when you are already there.
Second is to know the rules of your target country. Some country especially in middle East have very strict rules and  if you guys come from an open city then u have to adjust a lot in their rules.
Third and most important is be mentally, emotionally and physically prefered.,you will come there to work. You need to sacrifice a lot of things and even your family. As for my experience homesickness is very hard to beat especially when you are used to do things with your love ones like celebrating ocassions. Here you will celebrate those days alone.
So if you guys have other tips on working abroad please comment here and share your thoughts.
I hope this topic can help people who wanted to go to other country for work.I wish you goodluck guys.!
i have no intention of going abroad because it is very difficult from the family.but those who are work in abroad they sacrifice their life for their family and especially they time with family.they need to endure a couple of years just to send big money for their family.

working abroad is really difficult ! you will leave your family is a hard thing but living alone missing them is much harder ..
if you have kids, much painful! you will be in a place where you are basically like a transfer student that need to adjust in the community, law and languages. your friends left in your country while you need to have new friend on your new place.
Very very difficult but when you earn money by working abroad and feed your family and give them all leisures then the happines you get is totally worth the pins and your future is also much better

I was abroad for a year a couple years back.

I think the best advice I can offer people is to remain in frequent contact with friends and family back home, but still work to build friends in your new country of temporary residence. I think family is a great support network, which will help you get through the rough patches, and new friends will give you confidence in your ability to survive and find happiness in a new place.

Also, lot's of self-care! I can't stress this enough. Even if you're feeling lousy and lonely, go work out, eat well, do things you enjoy, and rest well. Taking good care of yourself will help you feel better and give you the strength to cope.

This seems to be true. I’ve worked abroad 2 years ago. The experience was fun don’t get me wrong. However, the culture shock and the different belief are one of the problems. Not to mention missinng your family.

Much respect for people who work oversees. To work away from home is to give up a part of you. You have to change a lot of things from your character, your beliefs, and even your lifestyle just to adapt to your new environment.

It's a sacrifice since you'd have to deal with homesickness (which can lead to depression) not to mention having to work on a small budget. I have relatives working abroad so I know. America and Europe seem fine when it comes to worker's right though. It seems most of the abuse happen in the Middle East, and to some extent East Asia.

yes working is a lot of sacrifice, first because they are far from the family, i know how hard to apart from love ones because i studied highschool far from my family and we do not have any communication, and we are not allowed to go home until the year end. yes it is not on abroad but my point is, how much more there, on abroad you do not know any person any you do not know who are the friends and not. and another thing very dangerous, there are many worker who have been abuse abroad. and then if you got sick, very painful part you do not know how to comfort yourself, no one will take care of you. it is really very, very hard.

Oversees workers are a huge factor in developing nations' GDP. Their remittances to their families help improve their economy. So yes, their sacrifice should be noted. These people are heroes in their own ways 1

It's true because it's really hard to work far from your family and home. You will eventually miss them from time to time. Working abroad is a big sacrifice. A lot of people are doing it for their family.

yes is true to work abroad is not easy, most of the time the problem is language barrier, and discrimination also is one of the problem that I encountered in other country, I been work in Dubai, UAE for 8 years and 9 months, I been experience the bad and the good attitude of different kind of people, but everything has change when I finish my first contract, there is a saying dance in the rhythm of music, so I show them who I am, what is my ability and capacity towards work later my boss appreciated what I do, and everything follows even my colleagues, respect me when it comes to my work. working abroad it's not easy you have prove to your self that you can handle any kind of situations you may encounter.

Yes it is a lot of sacrifice you would be far away from your homeland and your family,
It is hard to be away from your family whenever you got sick there is no one to take care of you.
The fact is that you always want to share something joyful or sad with a close and dear person. Therefore, I think that it is not necessary to be ill to be with your family and friends.
Speaking from experience: I prefer to share the happy moments with my family, not when I am sick. Grin

Whether it's about being sick, or sharing good moments and occassions, it'a always better if you're with your family. That's why i admire the sacrifice that people endure when they work abroad. It's not just physical fatigue that they have to deal with but the sadness of being away from their loved ones

for my opinion working abroad is difficult decision, because of poor living on their country that's why he leave the family and go to other country to work,, I suggest you go to abroad if you have Family,, Wife/husband and children,,cause this is your inspiration your family,, i know that you encounter the homesick/loneliness is part of leaving the family.

That's the bad part about working abroad. If you are not earning enough, then you may not be able to bring your family to where you work. I know a lot of families, in which the male member is working abroad for the past many years and is able to visit home only once every 3 or 4 years.

Yes, working abrod makes a lot of sacrifices. First is leaving your family in your country ( when thinking about this i feel homesick and iwant to go home right away). Second theere no one  to help you when you are abroad, only yourself can help you. You always think work work and work for the future of your family someday.

Yes I agree! It's very hard to go abroad to work specially when your children is small but to be able to give them a good future you can do and give all your best to support them to live better. Even your happeness you can surrender it for them.

Like going to war, we want to be as ready as possible maybe not? Just as with the world of work, wherever or whatever the ideals we must definitely prepare it as early as possible. Not only the preparation to be accepted work, but how to be ready to go through the work itself. the real fight will start after you get the job! One thing I have found at least in my office right now is that with the times, more jobs are open to the global community. now the origin of the university or country of origin is not the main factor of whether or not someone accepted. Companies prefer to see the quality of the candidate, the character, the experience they have, and what contributions the candidate can make for the company's progress. this is why preparing yourself as a person stand out among other candidates is very important! .if the company already feels someone is suitable, regardless of where he studied or where he came from, it is very likely that companies are willing to take care of all kinds of work visas and the necessary things related to relocation .
