My biggest mistake was not getting into bitcoin in 2012 when I first heard about it.  I didn't start looking into it until the very end of 2014, better late than never I guess.

I should have bought more when the price was 177$.
I could but I did not.
My fault

I was on your feet man, i hesitate too, i was thinking that the price will go more down and it was my fault

Better to forget it now... and start again!

Yes the past is the past and must stay there, and for us to forget it. Today the bitcoinprice is getting high what do you think?

LOL I feel you. I started making bitcoin last March only. Don't worry we can still see the old bitcoin price and possibly it can surpass the current all time high price.

~~~
I did collect some Dogecoin from faucet. Hoping the coin will reach the moon. Well when Dogecoin came out, I have no interest in cryptocurency at all. I would rather spend time (and GPU) playing computer games. Still collecting small amount of Dogecoin from day to day. Smiley.
i used to think like this and was collecting a lot of DogeCoin back when the price was higher than 100.
i even created a reddit post asking what everybody thinks about DogeCoin's future price and i've got a lot of 1$/Doge and all that to the moon stuff, granted by that time i was a newbie in altcoin markets, i believed it and continued gathering in my wallets.
but after seeing some facts about DogeCoin i decided against keeping them for long term. there is a huge amount of doge available and a lot of it is being mined every day and dumped on the market. meanwhile there is not enough demand for it to push the price up.
How much Bitcoin did you lose in total? Which sites did you gambles at?
my biggest mistake is i not knowing bout bitcoin earlier  Sad
Go around this thread. You will see many people during the same mistake as you - I'm one of them. No worries. We're still consider early Bitcoin adopters - the price is still less than 500 USD. Cheer. Smiley.
Invested in LTCGear and ZeusHash. I invested over $6000 worth of bitcoin in LTCGear (most of it was reinvested earnings) and finally had to sell my account for chump change just last week. ZeusHash has had my MHS contract frozen which cost a total of about 3BTC. It's been frozen for the past 8 months and there is zero support, as well as no way for me to sell the account. Cloud mining is horrible, I tell you!
Ahh. I invested in ZeusHash too. I saw they are giving out up to 5 GH/s for free last year. Joined in and than the free GHs only lasted for a few months. The promotion was so good that I invested more Bitcoin into it. Till today, as stated before.. No ROI yet.
My worst mistake was to leave 2.5 BTC on my desktop with a miserable password protecting it! Needless to say, you can imagine what was the outcome..
I learned the hard way...
Where is your desktop located at? Your house? Office or a... library? Well, next time use online application such as https://howsecureismypassword.net/ to check how long would people take to Brut-force your password.
oh well, I did so many bad mistakes, that I don't even know where to start, so just in names:
*BFL preorder
*BlackArrow preorder
*KNC preorder (even I received their miner, it was not smart at all)
*buying dogecoin during hype
*goxxed
*gambling
..anyway, I learned a lot here and I still like bitcoin a lot, so not big deal at all:)
What's the worst mistake you made - which one make you lose most Bitcoin?
I've made some silly trades before, panic sells as it were, in a bid to short the market.
I've been fortunate enough to make more coins through trading with luck rather than a particular knowhow or ballsy trading.
This thread reminds me that I need to sort out how I go about storing and accessing my coins :/
Yeah. Me too. I have no change to a new address - HD Wallet - soon.
Dropping my phone (breaking screen) with all the BTC on it.
Before HD Wallets so all I had was my last (very recent) backup, which happened to NOT have the last change address.
Lesson learned... Backup to remote site after EVERY spend, or only use HD Wallets.
BTW... I did get my coins back, but it was HARD... had to hand code adb click commands to activate the wallet and initiate a new backup.  If I wasn't rooted already it would have been VERY difficult.
