the biggest mistake i ever made to gamble with my hard earned coin at luckybit and lost all there, that made me ashamed and i got a lesson never gamble again at any site with our hard earned coins. Tongue

That is exactly what happened to me, I lost almost 1 Bitcoin gambling on PD and Luckybit. I promise myself that I would never gamble ever again.
Lessons learned from gambling-never again.

Mined 250 Bitcoins in may 2010 using my laptop, sold them for 3-4 USD

250 Bitcoins for just 3-4USD ? Shocked Shocked Shocked Hmm in that year the price of bitcoin is only 3-4 USD? I didn't know that. Just entered bitcoinworld in late March this year.

The worst was put money thus bitcoin into bitsmart and btc-mine. These were invest into mines and level up to get more in these graphical faucets. They went away within 5 days and was not even allowed in this time to break eve. Put $30 in the time into btc-mine and less into bitsmart because it was a so call "game" according to it's developer. Now I don't see losing btc as a game anymore Angry
I learned my lesson, there is no get rich quick in the bitcoin world  Undecided

Lol @ btc-mine. Many users here invest in that fast rich process method of earning bitcoin despite of others saying it is a ponzi. It runs in just 2-3 weeks only if Im not mistaken then boom it became Koko Crunch.

Of course, the big mistake was gambling.  Shocked Lost/wasted most of my bitcoins.

Yeah same here. Lost most of my bitcoins in gambling. And that was worst feeling ever. So that day I decided that I would stay away from gambling as it is better not to go for quick money as at the end of the day it is more important that you earn with respect and with hard work. If my parents gets aware that I am into gambling then they would throw me out of the home  Grin

btcjam! wanna talk about a grade a bonehead thing to get into
Based on people's attitudes on this forum, I'm surprised that this hasn't come up more.

I put .2 BTC in the Jam to test the waters.  May just have been chum for scammers, maybe not.  Time will tell.

Tried ponzi with bitcoin when i saw over 400BTC was invested there in less than a day
I "invested" 0.1BTC there, but i didn't get return Sad

And deciding not adopted bitcoin in 2011 Sad

Did you know it was ponzi before paying them? This happens often I dont understand it. I do not speak english first but I can understand what ponzi means and avoid it.

Well this really happen. I invest in one of the ponzi sites too thinking I can make a passive income. I don't know what ponzi means that day and decide to invest a little. So in general , every bitcoin newbies experienced this.

Of course, the big mistake was gambling.  Shocked Lost/wasted most of my bitcoins.

Thanks God but I was never into gambling. Looking at the many posts here on this forum, I actually see that many people lost many Bitcoins while gambling and I must admit that I am surprised by that.
If you gamble your BTC, you'll again invest on that gambling, You'll always gamble and/or invest more to recover your lost bits and also lost those invested BTC Grin

Depends on the user. Sometimes if a user lost a lot in gambling he/she will not take the risk again to get back his lost money.  This is the lesson he/she will learned.

I paid medUSA for my signature design.

In the agreement he asked for 0.07 BTC which I thought 0.7 BTC.

So I sent it. Few hours later he contacted me and let me knew the situation then refunded the extra.

Good thing you get back your money. So I think it's not worst. Others lost their BTC so that is much worst. Smiley

i once won about 0.5 bitcoin from 0.002 and decided not to stop gambling because i thought i knew the strategy that never fails, so i ended up loosing everything later that day

I hope you would stop gambling after you learn the lesson. Anyway, turning 0.002 Bitcoin to half a Bitcoin is actually something amazing. Most people would cashout 0.25 or 0.1 Bitcoin if they did what you did.

1. I didn't get in in the beginning of 2012 when I first heard about it.

2. I wasted a lot of money on alt coins thinking they will get me rich. They didn't, I just lost. Better stick with Bitcoin and maybe 1 promising alt.

Almost everyone thought Bitcoin was a "pump and dump" in Bitcoin early days. However, we're not late if we are joining into the game today. Bitcoin is still growing. I consider most of us here early adopters.

If you're looking for a promising altcoin, I would suggest Hyper. Hyper have been in the industry of Altcoin for a year and the developer is active.

Other than not investing into Altcoin, also not to invest in cloud mining.

No I didn't think its a pump and dump, I just didn't pay enough attention. It was a busy period in my life and when I heard about it, I just didn't have time to even think about it.

Yes, I strongly believe that Crypto and blockchain time is just ahead of us. There are just amazing things that you can do with this technology and I honestly don't see a blockchain technology failing.

My expenses increase, every time, thanks, Bitcoin! And yeah, that's the worst.
Also, sending transaction and forget to put some fees and wait like a day/week to get cancelled (not confirmed)

Ahhh the worst was to buy an account for 0.0182 btc.
I got it from a scammer as he didn't tell me it was cracked it was suspended some days later.  Cry Cry Cry
You should be careful next time because selling accounts should break ToS in most places.
Next time I suggest to search someone that can help you create a (premium) account with their own money and pays them with bitcoin than buying the account.
