When in early 2018 we still benefited from long-term trade and investment. But when 2018 runs the price of coins slowly drops and until now the price is very low. The coins that I hold all have decreased prices and I lost a lot of money. Now you can only hope that by 2019 market prices will return to soaring prices.
So after the bearish market came
I've been holding more alts than BTC/ETH
Coins like COSS, NANO, CND and etc
I been making loss and missing out most of the pump because i sell these coins and convert it to ICON (ICX) which i waited it to be move
So basically after everytime i sold my specific alts, few days later it went 100%
NANO, bought at 0.011 ETH i sold at 0.005 ETH, 7 days later, it went up to 0.013 ETH. Hold for almost 6 months and sold, it went up after 7 days.
Same to NANO, COSS
Everytime i sold, within days to 1/2 week
It pumped like crazy
Just like COSS
Sold off 100k at 28 ETH last week
Today 100k COSS priced at 53 ETH

As long as you have the mindset of selling for a good cause or reason you should not be affected by it anymore. Just like in life you sold something last year but this year the price of that item rise to double or even tripple.

Theres so many small investors losses rather than big whales. They have the power this year and manipulated the market. This time is bad to hold alts now thay just pump a while and then dissolve directly like bubbles. Its okay that you sell your alts, the more you hold the more losses as we can observe alts falling now.
Even though i don't do so much trading, but i'm also getting the effect of the market condition. I got loss so many value on the coins that i kept. That way i will stay to keep them until someday it will rise again, so that many people will also able to feel the good time again if the altcoins increase it's value again.
Two kinds of everyone's situation at this marker condition.
1: those who are joyfully buying more altcoins while the market is decline.
2: those who are tired of waiting when bull occurs because they are seriously sick watching their profit losing.

I'm also feel that myself, during that day i can't sell any of my coins cause the price is so much low that i would have loss if i sell them that time.
I think its happen to most cryptocurrency investor. People who selling their coin in early 2018 is people who gain big profits. But i not too worry holding my coin for long term because i am believe cryptocurrency market will recover and market cap value will reach trillion dollar
I think this year is the worst not only for you, this year has had a negative impact on all crypto enthusiasts I think that the fall in the market will still continue we need to be patient in 2019 there will be good changes for the crypto industry, there is a lot of good news after which the market should grow
You fell a victim of FOMO and weak hand on this experience. Holding long term has to come with a determination to hold even in a bad market period and you should not always respond to every compulsive urge to sell for another token or coin that looks like it's pumping. If you do that, you will most likely be at loss at the end of the trade.
When investing in any project, you have to believe in the project and be ready to HODL for long-term, but if by any chance you find the coins to not be as promising as you taught and you want to move from it. It is advisable that you don't sell off all the coins at least you should retain one third of it for unforeseen success.

The real purpose of holding long term is to hold long term and only sell for profits or when it is obvious that the project might really be dead for good.

The situation solving of slowly slowly when the 2018 km I definitely hope this year will be made a lots of changes in vector field to get back the normal situation of the cryptocurrency field at the end of this year happiest Year for all the universities to be celebrated by them.

I also bought COSS 6 months ago when I saw how many percent this coin lost since ATH price. I see the big potentional, but didnt realize that people are not interested in buying these coins due to bad market sentiment.
There is a lot of people who lost their money too and even me this year 2018 is not good for me too.
2018 is indeed very bad for trade. But as bad as trading, of course I can still get a small profit. But it doesn't matter if the profit is small. What we avoid is harmful trade. because that will make us even more uncertain in trading. And entering 2019 has begun to improve for me to trade with varying profits.
A small profit is better than getting losses this is something that I have learned since I became a trader some time ago, even if my profits are small I am doing better than most people since they lost so much money in this market that it is difficult for me to understand how they could think they could become traders when they did not knew anything about the subject when they began trading.
