Compare rates on different exchanges & swap.
Won't make much difference to be honest. Bitcoin is decentralized. Much of the features are decentralized and It's developed in a decentralized, transparent and democratic manner. Guess there is no way a bitcoin "leader"(Satoshi) could have done something unacceptable to the software without being noticed and stopped by the community.

If satoshi was not anonymous then it is likely that everyone will always try to consult him first before making any kind of new implementation to the code of bitcoin, I believe that was one reason to remain anonymous, he did not wanted bitcoin to have one leader and so he disappeared so bitcoin could move by itself without his input.
Anonymous Satoshi has a specific goal, so that Bitcoin can be independent and become a joint property without dependence on Sathoshi.
Who can prove Satoshi's name? or a system created on behalf of Sathoshi? Everything becomes a mystery.
But I'm sure bitcoin is becoming big because of the trust of all bitcoin users and believes that bitcoin will become the world's digital currency.

I don't think the the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto has such deep influence on Bitcoin community. Of course, people are curious and would like to know who he or she really was but again the very essence of Bitcoin and everything that it represents, the idea how it should Bitcoin and cryptocurrency be it's much more important.
And you have to understand that it's in very best interest of Satoshi to keep the identity hidden. At his/her place you would probably do the same.

Actually the curiosity of people who is satoshi nakamoto is one of the biggest thing can help bitcoin to grow up again the reason is people easily to convince adopt bitcoin if the author or creator aren't anonymous.
But of course I agree the most important is people knows bitcoin aand crypto all about give benefits for the community by the helpf of anonymous creator using the new technology invention.

Nothing lasts forever
That's a really good question and I had been thinking over the same thing. Well to be honest, we really can't predict how it would be if Satoshi's identity wasn't anonymous. I do have 2 opinions on this matter though.
1. Things would be the same if Satoshi wasn't anonymous because bitcoin would still be dependent on the market(basically us).
2. Bitcoin would have been better because Satoshi would have kept developing it over the years. One reason behind bitcoin not being widely adopted is due to it's inactive development. If Satoshi was here, he would definitely have come to solution for this problem as we all know he was a genius.

Very nice question for the bitcoin veterans and enthusiasts all over the world, I guess if Satoshi Nakamoto was not anonymous at all maybe bitcoin will have a slower growth because then many doubters might only then think that bitcoin is just another scheme by a person who wants to get famous or get rich quickly in the expense of the population. However there are many answers that will be posted on your topic and hopefully a good and better answer will be commented here.

actually satoshi nakamoto has shown his form only a few times not only to the public and only a few people, you can see from how the transactions that occurred in Bitcoin when it was first created, satoshi nakamoto made a proposal and gave the whitepaper until someone bought and from there bitcoin remains bitcoin even though right now satoshi nakamoto is anonymous.

I think that this would be a completely different community. Satoshi initially safe his identity because of the idea of decentralization.
Yes, that is idea he put forward by going anonymous, decentralisation. He demonstrated the core feature of Bitcoin by allowing the community to decide the its direction and development.

How would the crypto arena be different if everyone knew who Satoshi was?
Fur sure the anonymity of cryptocurrency will be revealed or maybe we will never experience this pivacy if that happens satoshi is known by the whole public.because how can this be anonymous if the creator it self is broadcasting?this is the essence satoshi wanted to he more privacy and we will thank him for lifetime giving this one

from the first bitcoin exists and until now the figure of Satoshi is still unknown, so I guess Satoshi will never appear and claim his existence.
so this is not important anymore to discuss who Satoshi really is

Yes same thing will be with him known or unknown just with him unknown is more obvious safe for him for safety reasons.
Just look at the creator of ethereum creator he is enjoying the millions of fiat he will spend Cheesy

And is looking the mafia is more bigger in cryptocurrency than in fiat currency.
In fiat you might get some help but in cryptocurrency you don't get absolutely nothing from no one.
And everything resumes to fiat ... fiat = bitcoin ... bitcoin = fiat .. dead end.
If you you imaginary change the name of bitcoin to American dollar or any fiat results are same = fiat currency.

How would the crypto arena be different if everyone knew who Satoshi was?

I think that being anonymous was the best choice that the founder (or the founders) of bitcoin did.

Being anonymous allows you not to be blackmailed, nor having conflicts of interest and, in this way, leaving the world a truly decentralized blockchain as it is Bitcoin.

Me too, Satoshi wanted to create a decentralized economy and I don't think he or she should ever reveal themselves. It's a massive thing to keep secret, just imagine being the person that created something so big. I would struggle to keep that quiet.

That's a really good and interesting question, his anonimity is added mystery, it could possibly be some marketing but in bitcoin's situation it's not like that. You know creator of almost every other altcoin and what has changed? Almost nothing but I think situation would be different around bitcoin. As it was mentioned by some guys here, maybe there would be pressure on him. Would be interesting to know what answer elders have who knew bitcoin very first and are on this forum.

You can't change the core bitcoin technology, but Ethereum's you can because the government or someone can order guys in there to change some things.
Secret Satoshi's identity is only a bonus.

Very speculative subject, have a space for serious discussion. It can also look like a good, carefully planned project from some totally other 'entity'.  Nobody can say for certain IF Mister Satoshi was truly a creator of the bitcoin. Anonymity maybe effect on and brought good look to bitcoin and other cryptos at the beginning but nowadays, if I have any interest to be part of, or to use it and have benefits out of it, I actually don't care who, what, where... I think that I would have same approach if I knew who he is. Good project, good idea behind it.

Am guessing every one know the creator of altcoins well I don't see how this is helping there project to rise above bitcoin.
Satoshi was around long enough to give the guidelines and information about bitcoin. The foundation has already been properly laid

IMHO I think it would be better for Satoshi to stay anonymous. Aside for its exoticism, being anonymous is also important as reminder to crypto loyalists upon what and why cryptocurrency was created. So, it wouldn't be merely about bussiness and money game.

I think this would significantly affect the main distinguishing feature of bitcoin as a currency - decentralization, since the identity of the developer would bind bitcoin to a certain country.
Yes thats right, his identity would bind bitcoin to a certain country and bitcoin wouldn`t be the same. Definitely no is the answer from the question in headline, bitcoin would be completely different, not so many people across the world would accept it. Only like this bitcoin has a chance to be accepted everywhere, its something I like very much, its not about country or religion its about truth that we are equal and same in crypto, your personality defines you, not the place you are from or your religion.

I think it will give a positive impact on bitcoin, when the creators is recognised it will increase the trust and maybe bitcoin can grow better, because people will know who to look for if they want to try to upgrade the technology and maybe there will be more company that could adopt bitcoin once they can ask the creator of bitcoin to get a more detail of the potential
