Are insects to fight large in size? Because in a country I have never done that. And before that there was also the topic of spider battles. And now insects, it's really very curious what type of insect that grows once a year. And actually I also want to see and try to do insect fighting.
If there is actually a bet on fighting the ants,I think the bet would be fun,Because the fate of your bet will be at the mercy of the ant , If a site provides this service, I will certainly bet on the most powerful creature in the planet.
There is no sites offering these kind of gamling activity,it is kind of local game which might happen i small group of people where mostly fun is the intention than betting amount and rewards.I didn't faced any insect games and betting on it,I am only encountered cock fighting but still ddn't have the opportunity to watch in the real only saw them on youtube videos. 
I don't know if its real fun but there is no thrill to seeing that fight unless you don't have to use magnifying lense to watch. Spiders is much easy to watch a much bigger insects on the sticks. But instead of counting 3 falls, watching the spiders eat each other will be worth watching. You can see it like who is on top of the food chain among the spider area, I think those in biology will like it more than cockfight.

Exactly, this game can't give us fun. Actually i am against of this type of games, because it is humiliate the animals and insects. Fighting is not good, we should bet on animals game like we bet on their race, just like horse riding. Agree, becasue it will be very difficult to predict the winner of the game, compare to the our normal game predict. Although those who have been playing this game may have experience on the predicting results, but those who are new to this game will not be able to predict the game.
Yes, because we don't know which one will win and it depends on them itself. If the insect is a fighter type, I think that will be the winner, and if not, then he cannot win. Haha. It is a spider game. It is one of the trend during my elementary days. I will bet in case there is only few amount of bet. I think the highest amount I could risk is 1 to 2 dollars. But risking my whole portfolio would be a danger to my trading investment. I prefer to play poker than this game though this is also cool.

Well I have done some very crazy betting I had bet on the weather if it would rain or not(with out any forecast) I had bet on roosters fight and although I have to get bet on insect fight I can not rule out the possibilities of it happening

Speaking about the original question, I think there is no joy and fun in gambling over the insects because you would not even know which player are yours and which is the opponent.
I haven't heard of ant fights for gambles and bets but it looks cute though. I usually see spiders fighting which is played by children here in our country. I also played that when I was a kid. We hunt spiders with my friends and we put in a match. It can be duel between two spiders but sometimes three to four spiders are fighting in a stick. We sometimes make small bets but we usually do this for fun only.

Yeah I think we have the same country thinking that spider betting is.known here locally. In fact I have some.spiders kept ready for a match. Spiders will be more tougher if it will be put to its keep for few days and it will just make the insect more hungry for food and ready for a fight. we can also do this game if we want, we can bet and enjoy it.Some are also using medicine to keep their spiders being tough. Anyway, whats best is that an owner knows how to match the insect to another opponent. There are win rate for thr spiders depending on its colors.

I can relate what OP mean to be because insect fight like spiders are very popular in my country either child for their fun and some adult for gambling with betting on it fighting on the stick.

I think this depends since we are doing these when we are just children. It is not the same way you bet on sports or in some games that you usually do since it is like just having fun. Well, in terms of what you are saying, it is true but that is the same in cockfighting, you bet most of the time at a chicken you don't know about unless you bet on someone's fight you know about or your friend maybe.
