Gambling is suppose to be fun, if you find betting on insects fine but for me this is something I have never thought of untill now....and this is way to risk if I think about it because these little guys have a mind of their own.
With our matured age these days, i don't see insect fights are entertaining that we need to even gamble with it. It might give fun for kids because they would just play it for fun just like what we are doing with spiders way back in my childhood days. Putting some bets on insects i think is somewhat pitiful because i know they don't live just to fight each other same with cock fighting.

In our country kids catch spidera and let them fight on a stick. You can also see adults doing the same and guess what, they are betting money with it. The question is, will this kind of gambling catch gamblers attention online?
I can't really see any international online market for spider fights, you would maybe see a few people who will bet a few dollars on a random spider and watch the fight on their screen, but this will be a very small group of people.
I have never bet on an insect fight and as for me there is no any strategy to predict the winner in such fight. it's a pure lottery.
Without the possibility of training them, yes, this is just like pure lottery. Maybe I will bet only small amount of extra cash if ever we have one in my area. Winning in this fight is pure luck so there's no logical reason to bet a lot on this.

We don't have ants here in our place but we do have spiders fighting with each other, I watched on one popular documentary TV show, that it's a very lucrative business and players are making $500 a week maintaining these spiders and winnings from spider derby, it's very exciting to watch this spiders fight but itis illegal because some spiders can become extinct in the long run.
This is very common and very popular here in our country, but in recent new here they are forbidding people too do spider fighting which is another common gambling with insects, because some types of spiders are now getting extinct in some area and they don't want that to happen, anyone caught will be charged.

I think it is a useless fight and cannot happen at all. I have not seen it happening anywhere. People cannot participate from far flung areas and it is not possible even to know which fly you are betting on. I thing an online video game version with many different kinds of flies and having different sizes would work and there could be different levels and hurdles in the game which would be fun to gamble at.Indeed, it is funny and also it is not possible for people. If there's money to be made here, why not gamblers are very creative when it comes on how to make money in gambling, I will not be surprised if they will involve something like a bug, or lizard or anything that gamblers can make a bet and make money, once a children play can become a gamblers playground.

During these days, Nah I don't think so. Technology is now getting more advanced and it is in fast pace. It was anticipated that people or let's say bettors, to be more specific, are now less interested on such games. For sure most of them will be more interested betting in MK, Tekken, Street Fighter or other video game competitions rather than this since Gen Z kids can only relate to this lol. Going back to the question if I will bet on an insect fight?, I may say "Why not" because I think it still fun even though I'm a young adult already; of course I'm interested in everything which involves money

That's a perfect question I heard about betting on an insect, but for me it's not that typical insect which we normally see anywhere. I guess this type of insect they mean here was a spider fighting gambling game with many patronizers. This was practiced by people who played gambling bets through animals like cockfighting, and then they discovered using insects like spider fighting conducted by different owners who had their strong spider breeds. I don't actually bet on this kind, but I do played it for fun during my younger days as a little kid living along with my family at the mountain province.

Lol very funny indeed, I honestly keep on wondering the possibility of these, it’s really weird and there is literally nothing gamblers will not play with, well that is fun, it’s possible that the players do not even make so much money from this type of gambling., maybe it’s a way of many players coming together to have fun and I believe that this would really be entertaining.But one thing that I am skeptical about this type of gambling is that the younger generation from the country this is played might not have so much interest since there are newer and better gambling methods, especially now that there are more crypto casino sites, and most younger gamblers would prefer this.

Well it will appeal to some guys' inner boy. We don't have ants like that where I live but kids in the 90s used to play spider matches a lot. Depending on the season, June beetles fights were also a thing.

I was never interested in insects as a boy, found them disgusting. I guess insects matches are much easier for poor people to set up since horses, dogs, and chickens are expensive and you can't really just go find some in the wild.
Even the earthworms my cousin played with disgust me.
But yes, people would just gather the insects from the fields. This is more a rural pastime that has pretty much disappeared in my area. The "cheapest" combat "sports" men here engage in are cockfights, which is a steep jump of expense compared to spiders.
