I think few people would want to receive their salary in BTC, because all bills need to be payed in Fiat anyways. As a result you will in any case end up converting to Fiat.
However, some people could prefer to receive lets say 10% of their income in BTC as an investment / inflation resistant currency. After all it save you the hassle of converting it yourself it might save you on some exchange fees and risk.

It can be good idea if it is fixed in bitcoin. When bitcoin price increases so is your salary. So there are chance that you can earn more if you receive it in btc. And when the price is low, you'll just hold it for a while and consider it as an investment.
For now, i wouldn't like to receive my salary in bitcoin. Because it will cost more to exchange it into fiat, even if i accept my salary in bitcoin, there is no shop that accept bitcoins. So i think it's better to receive it in fiat.

I agree, although bitcoin is much more known now in the internet or cyberworld, in the real world only few people knows about it and only few shops accepts it as a direct payment. Most of the shops that accepts it as direct payment are those you don't need in your daily livings. They just accept bitcoin as direct payment for innovation or to attract more customers that also uses bitcoin.
Bitcoin is good as a currency and also as an investment, but we cannot trust it so blindly that we can risk our monthly income for it, as there is no guarantee that price will keep on rising in future.

A part of my salary being paid in bitcoin would something I would consider, but by no means 100%. I feel that it will eventually it will get me into problems if a major crash happen just after your payday. That would be a real nightmare.
It would be really good if companies starts paying certain percentage of salary in biticoins, as that portion will be saved for the future and we don't need to buy bitcoins if that happens.

My answer is no. Firstly, because bitcoin price is unstable, one it can be $600 and next day - $600. Secondly, there are no places where I can spend bitcoins - i would have to exchange to my local currency. So, I prefer to get sallary in Euros, and I think situation won't change in nearest future.
using bitcoin for a short period of time is indeed incomprehensible, but if bitcoin is used for long-term investment, then the result will be felt. bitcoin was created to compete with other currencies, bitcoin does not aim to impose other currencies.

Life is not limited only to pay bills, there are many other basic things that also should be kept into consideration what will you do to buy basic stuffs that you need on daily basis, you will need to convert your btc to fiat.
If part of the salary is paid in the bitcoin, you just need to save that part of the salary. You do not have to convert to fiat.

Life is not limited only to pay bills, there are many other basic things that also should be kept into consideration what will you do to buy basic stuffs that you need on daily basis, you will need to convert your btc to fiat.
I would never accept bitcoin as salary. This is because I use my salary to buy daily necessities of life like bread and butter, pay the bills etc. To pay in bitcoin would mean a huge hassle because none of the local stores here accept bitcoin at all. Also converting them to fiat is tough and would mean taxation fees which are also huge.
i think i would most probably not accept that in the future too because in my opinion bitcoins are not stable enough right nowYeah until we don't see price stability in bitcoins we cannot take a risk of accepting salary in bitcoin, as if price falls then we will be having less income for that particular month.

what's the point of accepting bitcoin as your salary when you convert it to your local currency? the best is to just stick to a percentage as 10% that you receive in bitcoin. more isn't needed. i have been buying $100-$200 worth of bitcoin for more than a year. and that is enough. no need to wait for the time your employer pays you in bitcoin. you can use a small part of your monthly salary already to buy bitcoin.
Exactly its better to receive salary in fiat and put some money in bitcoins on monthly basis as it will save your money and it can be also an best investment for future.
