I would love to but in the country I live in I would struggle to survive with cryptos alone. I do try to systematically buy cryptos for a certain % of my monthly paycheque.
If you are a BTC lover, would you one day like to get your paycheck 100% in BTC?
Personally I won't. Because many facilities in my area doesn't support BTC payment.
I do not mind receiving, say, 20% of my pay in BTC denomination.
For me, I would still choose to receive my salary as it is, in fiat. Maybe I'd consider getting my paycheck in bitcoin once the price is already stable. But not right now. Can you imagine every payday, you are not sure how much you will be earning? Or what if on your payday, the price plummets by 20%, that wouldn't really feel good in my pocket. Personally I won't. Because many facilities in my area doesn't support BTC payment.

That is also my concern. The bitcoin price is too volatile. It is difficult to budget with the bitcoin in the short term.

But it would be bad if bitcoin's value will drop. Our salary could decrease 5$ or more depending how big it will drop. 5$ in asian countries are a big amount and it will be a big effect if that happens. Good for us today because bitcoin's value is continuously increasing because of the upcoming halving in july. But we'll soon get disappointed when it starts to drop but let's hope that won't happen. And if it will not that big drop.
I am currently working as freelance developer in freelancer.com but they are not paying in bitcoin till now. Hope they will add bitcoin and i can get payment in bitcoin which i love to get rather than getting paid in skirll, paypal etc.
I hope that too. It is easier to receive bitcoins rather than in paypal that takes a lot of process, this and that.

So there are chance that you can earn more if you receive it in btc. And when the price is low, you'll just hold it for a while and consider it as an investment.
for salaries in the real world I hope not. because I have not found many bitcoin ATM. for convenient use in making money, money remains a priority. because if we need money in a fast time seems to be difficult if using bitcoin.
I like bitcoin and i like to invest in bitcoin, but i prefer my salary in fiat, its easier to spend and i dont need to exchange my money to purchase something, and then i prefer my salary to a fix state not volatile
what if bitcoin is already accepted in many shops and merchants. and you will have the same convenience adn easier for shopping such as shopping using fiat?is it you want to receive payment by bitcoin? or still wanna get salary by fiat?
I would like it because I also would pay less more tax than normally due to that it would be awesome if you ask me.

I think that it's not needed for me, cause i am spending money very often and with bitcoin it's not so simple to do, cause you can't use it in every physical shop.
As long as not much merchant didn't yet accept bitcoin in real life people would feel worry and confused where they have to spend their bitcoin for daily needs. But once there many merchants accepted bitcoin I believe people would love to receive their salary in bitcoin.

That's true, You can't buy with bitcoin on a local place. Maybe, there is no merchant in your environment , but you can use bitcoin for online sure.We know only in Europa,south America have a many some merchant accepted bitcoin.

Plus with you saying would you "one day" like to be paid in bitcoin means that you are giving us hope for a world where you can pay everything in bitcoin, and not just accept the status quo of today financial system.

currently i don't want it and i have same reasons such as you because in my country i could not use my bitcoin for buying my daily needs but if i could choose for me i think 30% from my salary is good because i could hold it as short term investment Personally I won't. Good question for different employees. But I dont want to. Directing my salary in bitcoin will also result on a questionable price. What if bitcoin price suddenly fall? Then I got a low salary on that day or on that week? I would rather exchange my salary on bitcoin myself.

yeah I also have the same thoughts as you bitcoin has considerable fluctuations so I'm not going to accept bitcoin for my salary now. I prefer to accept salary by fiat. yeah of course because fiat currency is my main currency. I shop by fiat also Jump to:
