No, I would not. I might accept a small portion by way of speculation, but there's no way I could take the gamble, no just on the exchange rate, but the whole trustless platform as an outright replacement for all of my current expenses, purchases and obligations.

No. For me, Fiat is worth much more than bitcoins. I don't earn interest on the BTC I hold nor do I have ways to spend my bitcoins in my country and hence I would prefer having fiat rather than BTC. Also, BTC is not legally accepted and in case the price drops, it would be even worse for employees.

Not at all.
My salary would be useless tomorrow and I may get rich the other day. That's how volatile it is.
You cannot call that a "stable income".

But not until bitcoin become our national currency.
it looks like you have not been taking full advantage of the fluctuations. so you think that fluctuates is a terrible thing. whereas these fluctuations could be an addition to income or salary in bitcoin? you should be able to learn from it

It is really difficult to predict.
If you have a family that relies on your job and salary, you would not want to say "oh, we are short on meat today because the BTC price fell."

I get your point. And I hope you get mine too.  Grin

If the BTC price is stable and there are establishments who accepts BTC in my area, I would probably opt for a certain percentage of my income to be paid in BTC. The price is key. If the price per BTC is extremely volatile, I would not want my pay to be depreciated in value.

Yes if the valuce does not change much, it good to get salary in Bitcoins

That is also my concern. The bitcoin price is too volatile. It is difficult to budget with the bitcoin in the short term.
though you might receive a lot more money than your wage then so it would also be good

i would definitely like to receive my salary in bitcoins as it would be as an investment

If you are a BTC lover, would you one day like to get your paycheck 100% in BTC?

Personally I won't. Because many facilities in my area doesn't support BTC payment. Smiley I do not mind receiving, say, 20% of my pay in BTC denomination.

My country doesn't support btc payment also, so I think its not possible for me to receive salary in bitcoins. When I give it a second thought, I think maybe its good like that. I gamble a lot with bitcoins, and I wouldn't like to gamble with all I have. I earn some coins and I try to do something with them. In case I lose its not a problem, I have other safe paycheck that waits me.

I`m btc lover also, but I need to control myself somehow. And this is good thing for me, I don't need to worry about it too much, or to pay attention too much. Most important is to be relaxed and enjoy in things you do. So this split situation is good for me.

In my country, where i m living it is impossible talk, because next 15 years may be my government will not accept the bitcoins in a official lever.
So for me better is that it is not suitable for me to convert my salary into bitcoins.
But i am still doing work in signature campaign and also i have investment of bitcoins and i have earning in bitcoins very good and i m satisfied with it, but more than my salary i have no thinking about it.

If your government don't accept bitcoins, then you could be the next crypto entrepreneur to develop the service to enable your country users to pay in bitcoins to settle their bills. Smiley

Me too i won't, just 50% in btc to invest it at trading and the other 50% in cash for my daily expenses. Here in the Philippines many stores already accepts btc as payment like payment for electric bill, water bill, credit card bill, etc. But even if they do i don't want my salary to be paid in full bitcoin. I'd rather go to their centers and pay them with real cash to make sure that i really paid them.

That's good to know that even water supply bills, electricity bills and such basic necessity bills could be paid via bitcoins. Is Philippines the only country that could do that now?

I wouldn't mind receiving a small portion of my salary in bitcoin.
I do have bills to pay and bitcoin's volatility may mean that a portion of salary is wiped out before I can spend it. There is upside too, like in the current bull run, but I won't take the risk.

Yes ,but there's a disadvantage and advantage to receive salary in bitcoins because there's a fluctuation of price .so the salary would be high or low .this time in my opinion it is not applicable to be done.

Yup mate I fully agree with you here. The price of Bitcoin is so volatile right now that you may be risking getting a smaller payment if your salary was paid in Bitcoin instead of fiat because of the crazy fluctuation of the price. Personally if I were living alone I could possibly try receiving my salary in Bitcoin to see what the benefits would be compared to fiat but if I had a family I wouldn't do that because the financial stability of my family would depend on me and I wouldn't want to gamble their safety by investing in Bitcoin. Getting your full salary in Bitcoin is essentially investing your whole net worth in Bitcoin which could be a great idea or lead to disaster in the future. I guess this option is only for very adventurous people  Wink

Shit, did I leave the stove on?
As of right now I wouldn't want to receive my salary completely in Bitcoin because there are not many shops accepting the crypto coin in my country and also the price is so volatile right now that I could lose money by not getting money in fiat which has a stable value. Imagine if you got your salary in Bitcoin and the value dropped overnight and you ended up having not enough money to pay your rent for the month just because you didn't expect such a thing to happen. Because of things like that I prefer to get a fiat salary which has a fixed value and I can allocate money to different expenses throughout the month without the fear of a price dip and being short on cash.

No, I don't want, because bitcoin price is so volatile. Also, I can't use bitcoin freely in real life like money did.
I prefer recevied money than bitcoin. If I wanna buy bitcoin I can use my money to buy it. That's more confinient for me.
