No ways. Most of the reason people use Bitcoin is to avoid this. That's like going backwards. Then you let everyone on fb know you gamble or on Google or whatever. What if you looking for work and your boss sees it and judges you for it ? Maybe to them it's as bad as finding you a drug addict. Bitcoin prevents this judgement. I don't think fb would allow this anyway.

I haven't seen any gambling platform these days having option of login through social media accounts because who want to give away all their personal details to an unknown guy/platform over the internet. I will never expose myself while gambling..

I think are a couple of sites that require logging in to social media sites to have access to certain features and bonuses though i haven't yet seen any that requires that to log in to the acct itself. And i also wouldn't spare any time in those sites as there are a lot of gambling sites that are more secure and established without requiring such access to your personal accounts. Just move on to another site if you're not comfortable linking your social media accounts in a gambling site
Yeah right, I also would not spend time on sites like that, the risk is very high. There are many sites that are better and safer without linking to social media accounts. I really appreciate my privacy when gambling for security reasons my identity, so I will not do that. True as you say, it's better to switch to another gambling site if it is required to link a social media account to a gambling site.

Most sites, at least dice sites, provide either a login url (Just-Dice, SatoshiDice) or ask for a user name and password (BitDice, PrimeDice).

One of the benefits of Bitcoin gambling is betting anonymously.

There has been a couple of sites however that allowed you to login with your social media profiles, though they seem to be dead now Smiley

Do you think sites should offer the option of login via social media profile as well as the normal username/password?

Many gambling sites are operating without governments permission, and are either illegal or in the gray area, so players usually try to preserve their anonymity. So, logging in via social networks is the direct opposite of this and should be avoided. Also, your profile information from social networks can be used by hackers in their social engineering attacks, you can find many stories how people got their exchange accounts hacked because of this. Cryptocurrencies gave us tools to reach anonymity, and we shouldn't neglect it.

Many people gamble with bitcoin to remain anonymous and protect their personal privacy so  I don't think anybody will be willing to login with their social media accounts rather than going through 1 minute registration process. Also these days many bitcoin gambling platform creates anonymous account instantly when you visit them that can save lots of time and if you want to make deposit than just edit your profile and password and you are good to go.

I will ;like to login without any of those social accounts so that my friends will not know that am gambling. And for private reasons

I could understand that you mean you play with bitcoin online gambling, because in this way, we have no need to tell our personal information that's why your friends don't know that you are gamble or not, and believe me i am also one of them. I play gambling with bitcoin, because it give us safest and hidden our personally that people don't know about us that we are gambler or not.

Doesn't make sense to make it mandatory to login using facebook or twitter in a gambling site. That sounds fishy to me. But if I badly want to try out a gambling site I might consider making up a fake twitter , google or even a facebook ID. Will never you my real one!
Really better to create an account with username and an email only to gamble.
Rather than have to feel complicated we should create a social media first to login later to the site.
There's no reasonable benefit we can get on doing thi righ? Just tell me if anyone have an idea why we should do it.
If you are hidden gambler and don't like to show your friends or family members about your gambling activity, then use a dummy account to login gambling sites. Why we need to use dummy account means once you log in with any account in your account you will start to receive notification about that gambling site. And some sites will tag you and send some notification to avoid this kind of issues you need to use dummy account. Apart from this, there is no any major reason.

That's right. It really doesn't matter since its really easy to create dummy social media accounts for specific purposes such as these. And i'm not sharing any private information in my real facebook accy anyways. If i like a gambling site and it comes to it that they'll require social media log ins, then no problem

No, not a chance. Everything re: bitcoin stays anonymous for me. I don't want anybody having a chance to hack me or discover my identity/personal details.

Exactly, many of us gamble with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies because it offers us some amount of anonymity that fiat gambling doesn't and so integrating social media into gambling will expose our identity and perhaps gives hackers the chance to attack us .

Yeah even i would feel something weird about the site as to why it is compulsory to sign in with social media as it has most of my personal details which i wouldn't like anyone else to know about. If anyone does come across a site with compulsory login with social media don't login blindly check few reviews first or make a temporary account to sign up

I am only active in Facebook and it's fine with me to login it to gambling site but since I don't often visit a lot of gambling site so I don't remember using it as a log in.
a logic answer,if we have social media account and we have no important files or photo there, its okay to use it for gambling, login with social media is simple way for us,but i am sure not many people use this, because gambler like to hidden their personal life,or personal identity. and i'm kind of people that pretend my privacy for public.

Payment Gateway Allows Recurring Payments
If we can keep our identities secret, I think we'd better keep our identity a secret. We never know what will happen, what we do not want can happen. Problems with fellow gamblers can also happen, so better not log in using fb, twitter and others.
I will always prefer to gamble without any information to be given from the gambling site. Even my facebook or social media account isn't that open for them to know. But if there's a need I'll just go look for some other gambling sites that doesn't allow registration and even connecting to any social media platform just to gamble.

yup i think its better to stay behind the wall as i don't want other people know my real identity and if that site really need me to fill my social media, i think i will make new one fake to use for register. but i think there is many sites that is not require us to fill our social media to join with them so we can register with other site.

Dump it!!!
With so many instances of data being compromised these days, I think we are better off not signing up with our social media handles to avoid being stalked or identity thieves from getting on to us...the best solution is avoiding this route to access services

Most crypto gambling sites understand the anonymous concept that's why they don't have this enabled
