At first I was thinking only for a middle name but after giving it some more thought I'm sure I'd do it.  I like the name for one and the fact that the name is of someone I respect makes it a "no brainer".  I can imagine all the nicknames the child would get especially if bitcoin is a big as many of us know it should be.  So yeah, were do I sign for this and what if I have twins?

The idea is fun and interesting but silly at the same time.  All and all it is good press for Bitcoin and could help the child so that being said I'm not against this.  I also had a similar idea I suggested to another member here but they weren't looking for financial funding and decided against it.

Bitcoin
The webpage is down... so I don't know how serious they are.

Back to the topic, I think millions of people will queue up if this much amount is offered. BTC150 is equivalent to $77,000+ at today's exchange rate. And even in western nations, people are producing babies to claim just $5,000 or $6,000 in child benefits.
Lol. You must be from Australia

Actually he is from Russia. But that is not the point. This name is not that bad compared to some random bullshit names people are giving to their children for free all the time. I won't have children but if I would I will take that offer for sure.

Like North West or Apple.

I would, and I would give that kid all of the Bitcoins when he turns 18.  Also, I would call him by his middle name.

What would be his middlename ?

Litecoin?

Only if I can put it up for adoption immediately afterward.

I didn't get a vasectomy cause I wanted humanspawn in my life.

Kids end up costing a lot more than the $77k those 150 BTC are worth today. Of course they will probably appreciate tremendously while the child grows up.

I would do it, I don't have any kids now but if someday I do and somebody paid me 150 btc to name it Satoshi I would defo do it but it also depends on the price of bitcoin at that time.

Every time a Panda is born in a zoo it appears to make the news. I wonder how much it would cost to convince the zoo keeper to name it Satoshi? Maybe offer some money to a bankrupt town to rename it to Satoshi or a bridge, stadium, dam (or any landmark really)? Getting something on a map would be nice.

I could even start small and spray my car with the BTC logo.

Cnn.com would pick it up just like the Panda being born in the zoo Tongue
