If I had a tesla I 'd sell it & bag in $DIVI because it's so ready to moon real high with recent developments & announcements.
i agree of selling back the tesla if you have bought it with btc . if elon and tesla can easily change thier minds in accepting btc why not we ? but there are better cryptos that i can invest than this divi coin your are shilling .
also there are better car models that are cheaper than tesla .
bitcoin pizza day sounds silly but everyone in the community honor this day because it was a proof that btc can be use for purchases . we must be proud if we bought something with our crypto

Hello everyone!

So with the hype around crypto that Elon Musk is creating and with the news about possibility of acquisition of any Tesla car with crypto, comes my question:
Would you buy a Tesla with BTC or ETH? Aren't we going to regret it? In future, will this turn to an event similar to "Bitcoin Pizza Day" where people will be sayin that someone spend a whole BTC or 10 ETH for a car Huh?

At some point if you don't cash in a little for than you are missing the point.  It's not supposed to be horded by everyone it's supposed to be used.  If you have enough crypto I'd definitely spend one on a car, don't know if it'd be a tesla but definitely worth getting a ride for some crypto.

when I have a lot of cryptocurrency then I don't want to exchange the cryptocurrency I have to buy a Tesla product using cryptocurrency, I prefer to use cash instead of using cryptocurrency because cryptocurrency exchange rates can still go up and can be more expensive than before.
Cash is still the main choice. However, if you have thousands of Bitcoin assets and buy it for under $ 10 buying a car with Bitcoin will not be a problem.
Cryptocurrency assets will indeed fluctuate and their value will fluctuate.

Cryptocurrency is just another option for buying an item like Tesla. But all decisions are in the hands of people. Those who buy cryptocurrency understand that crypto can be a means of payment other than using fiat money.

Absolutely not, this sector is still too small to spend crypto to buy assets that you can get using fiat currencies.
Everything changes if your main source of income is cryptocurrency.
It is just to say that people have no interest anymore in tesla or if they have, they never use their crypto rather than their real money instead if they wanted to buy. For me, I'd never do that as well.

Anyway, Tesla and Elon have gone from crypto already (I Think). So, we never have to expect that they will accept any cryptocurrency. And I think, it never has the reason also to spend our ETH or BTC just to acquire their cars, kinda worthless.

Nope no way. Instead of buying a tesla and loosing money overtime just get DIVI and multiply your money by 10x
A no for divi too.  Smiley

But we're agreeing that we shouldn't swap our btc and eth for it. Why would I replace it with it if I can use my own money to buy that Tesla stock?

I want to have as a form of diversification but will not exchange it with another asset but with cash, I will.

No I will not buy Tesla with my crypto. I think it will not good to invest in Tesla. As we know that Someone bought 2 pizza with 10000 BTC in 2010. So if we buy Tesla for 1 BTC than may be it will be said in future somebody Bought Tesla with 1 BTC, which worth 1M$ now.
This is one of the fears people have, people do not want to spend their bitcoin because they know that over the long term the price of bitcoin will go up and when we take into account what Musk has done recently then there is even less desire for the community to use his products, after all it is not as if a Tesla is the only electric car you can buy, there are many other manufacturers that sell cheaper cars and that offer decent quality.

Haha, it depends, for example, if am really ready to buy a car and the car I want to buy is tesla, then why not, there is absolutely nothing to regret here cus before I decide to buy the car, I've already made a lot of money which if am to pay for the tesla with crypto, It won't be anything, bitcoin or Ethereum will continue to go up but we all know at the back of our mind that we can't hold them forever, at some point in time, we will have to spend them on buying something we like of even convert them to physical cash to spend on things of life, so for me, I don't really care, if I have a lot of crypto and ready to buy a tesla or any other car, and also have the ability to pay with crypto, then why not, I would swap my crypto for some tesla mate.

If this was posted few days back, I would have said yes, considering the things the founder of Tesla has done over the years. But with the recent unacceptable actions which he has taken to create a FUD among the crypto-community, ruined the nice picture we had. Now I would directly say "No" to your question.
This is why this was such a bad decision, Musk is thinking only on the short term profits he is going to get out of all of this, but we know that bitcoin is the best investment around the world which means that many of those invested in it will become some of the most powerful individuals around the world and he is picking a fight with all of them and most likely they will never buy anything from him ever again, meaning that he has limited the profits his company can get in the future.

The electric car has no gas emissions and is very environmentally friendly

Did you know how much coal, gas, and oil are burned to produce electricity? In short, they are not as environmental friendly as they want to look like. Powerplants consume nature gas to produce electricity. The difference between petrol/diesel car vs electric is the area of pollution. Yet they both pollute atmosphere a lot.

If I was able to buy Tesla car, I would not do it, because my city and cities around are not much suited for electric cars. We do have a lot of charge stations, but they are greatly less than regular fuel station. And I dont like the idea of waiting 30-120 min before car full charge, when I can fill full fuel tank in less than 5min.

The electric car has no gas emissions and is very environmentally friendly, but I will not buy a Tela car with Crypto, when the car engine breaks down, the car cannot be used and the price will decrease every year, I will buy a car with fiat payments because fiat is more stable and keeps the crypto that I have for long-term investment

No I don't think that I would even if I need a car orI have enough money to buy it,
Why would I buy a car from them if I could buy a cheaper car from other brands?
And No I wouldn't swap my crypto for it because it wouldn't even give me profit or earnings like my crypto.

Cryptocurrencies or FIAT coins are also money and when my need really needs a car like Tesla, I will buy it with crypto. In my country, electric cars and electric charging stations are not widespread, so I don't need Tesla electric cars.
Gasoline cars are commonplace.
By the way, I want to know if running 100km of gasoline, will take about 6 liters of gasoline, if it is also 100km on an electric car, how many kWh of electricity will it take to charge?

It all depends on how much crypto you have and the middle class with crypto holdings will choose to hold it instead of buying Tesla which they think is not a cheap price even if you do your crypto will run out.
different from large investors who have a large amount of bitcoin or other crypto and if interested there will be a possibility to buy it, and I personally would not do that and it is better to buy a house and its contents if I have a large amount of bitcoins.

I am not a fan of electric cars because electric cars are not popular in our country right now. If one-day electric cars are available all over the country, I will choose one for myself to keep up with the trend. It is also normal to pay crypto for a car as it is just a form of payment. I will buy with my crypto when I think the value of that crypto is peaking and not suitable for holding longer or that crypto is a return on investment.
I don't find crypto payments any cooler or a waste of money because at the time of payment it's the same value as the car product.

I believe that Tesla cars are not in high demand and as we can see that people never like these cars. So why we should do the swap if we don't like it?

As I come into crypto for investment, not to use this acquiring liabilities just like having Tesla cars for this sake but to make a profit. And also, there are a lot of fancy cars around which is more appealing than Tesla. If we could hear negative feedback about these cars( Tesla), the more that people will ignore them.
