Money laundering using libra is basically the same as you used conventional bank to launder your money both are centralized and could easily trace you back if the government demands, not to mention that they are implementing blockchain which could expose every transcation happening from the very first time the blockchain created until the last block.
Considering facebook has sold its data to other people in exchange of money before, Libra is a tricky one. Good part is you would be capable of using something trustworthy in the sense that we all know facebook won't scam anyone with Libra, it will be a decent stablecoin that we all use and will be quite easy to send and receive money from/to each other and that is the good part.

However bad part is, will everyone know what we spend out money on? Will facebook have a list of data that shows who spends what? Not even big stuff, like for example a list of women who spend money on makeup, that is quite common but do we really want that as a list in the hands of facebook? I feel like nobody will want something like that to be honest. So you gotta weight the pros and cons.
unfortunately those people who know and understand about the facebook data sales scandal are very few.

i mean for the common people they won't bother behind what was happened as long as the next product is fit for them. i personally will glad to welcome and use the libra currency if only they did not centralized the currency itself which they did centralized.
it is not tricky but pretty obvious that facebook with its libra is ready to make their first attempt to conquer the whole world financially.

we are too naive to realized that sooner or later anything in our hands will be a facebook product.

In my opinion, the actions of Facebook were initially stupid since they announced the initially problematic project, because not only many governments of different states, but also many cryptocurrency users do not  approve such a project as Libra too much.  In any case, I had no particular desire to use Libra and therefore was not too upset that this project would not be launched.
The biggest thing that revolted me was that Facebook will have all the personal data of users and their data on financial transactions.

Another issue is that Facebook is no longer politically neutral. They regularly delete groups and even posts which they deem to be too right-wing in nature, at the same time allowing left-wing bigots to spread their hate speech. In countries such as the United States, India and Myanmar, Facebook has endorsed political parties and have used the platform to the advantage of these political factions. Also, they have big plans to meddle in the 2020 POTUS elections.

it could potentially become a danger for the national currency
National currencies are a danger to themselves because the fundamentals have been undermined so greatly.   The only thing stopping great readjustment away from poor quality is a synrochised effort by major governments to avoid any possible strength vs another currency so if Dollar devalues via issuing more currency they expect Japan and Europe to do similarly.  This doesnt solve the problem for end users of the currency who cannot take part in that new issuance of currency except by the tiny amounts they earn and receive in circulation from government departments.
Libra was never really a threat, its purely something new and hence feared.   The slight innovation it had was to combine a basket of currencies and that mix would still be FIAT so its not really related to a proper crypto currency which would be decentralised and unlinked to FIAT directly.

With so many controversies arising from this tech giant's ambitious actions, we never truly asked the most important question.

Would the people actually use Libra should it be approved by the congress?
Right now no one know that will it get approved by the congress or not! In the same way we cannot say that how will it work and how much will people trust on that coin. Many experts are from now suggesting them to adopt bitcoin which I also think that it will be good for all of us.
People also are worried about Libra because they think that the privacy on facebook is not much secured. It is also considered as a centralized coin and the crypto community want to adopt only decentralized currency.
I've never heard any expert from when talking about Libra trying to mention bitcoin or even recommends us to adopt bitcoin by any means. Even Libra is not approved because it could potentially become a danger for the national currency and bitcoin which is decentralized can't go anywhere if the government have that idea.

If there is any credit sir additional offer on using any Facebooks services means I will definitely use the Libra coin for it.
If they are not doing that means I will never plan to invest or buy that libro coin in any exchange for their public sale.
Some foolish big investors are there in the market as well as some traders there to invest on Facebook just for the namesake.
It is a stablecoin, created for the purpose of becoming the new digital payment method to compete with the already existing digital wallet like Google wallet, Apple pay, etc. I see no point for facebook to give any offer because it is not ICO or IEO.
Some big investors are just trying to get the profit generated from every transaction just like any other stablecoin out there. People who buys the coin and think themselves are investing into Libra is definitely bamboozled.

To answer the question of whether we will use the stable Libra coin, you first need to wait for this coin to appear, see under what conditions it will be issued, who will support it and which states will prohibit its circulation on its territory, what its functional capabilities will be . Indeed, recently many financial partners have left this project, Zuckerberg even said at a meeting of the US Congress that Libra will not have anything to do with Facebook, and this greatly changes the original plans for this coin and its significance. One thing is clear: if Libra is released, as I now doubt very much, it will already be a completely different coin than planned and it will no longer have a significant effect.

Facebook is a public listed company and if some of the top executives think that they wanted a big news for the market to become active because the digital currency wave is going the rounds and little did they knew that they will be getting this much heat from the government.

The biggest thing that revolted me was that Facebook will have all the personal data of users and their data on financial transactions.
If you are using anything for free expect them to do something to make a profit even by selling your data.

Well I would use Bitcoins for sure when it comes to using something that is not related to the government since libra is centralized and it poses the same risks as the normal currency but then comes the popularity I think Libra might be more popular for the upcoming days since they have huge user database.
I would use it if they offer something better and more private but let's see.
I think it's very difficult to find privacy on Facebook, even I think if you have a Facebook account, you might have uploaded a photo, or a video about yourself, location, and others. basically we have filled privacy issues on social media. other than that, to be honest, I will use libra if they offer attractive offers for future business profits. it's just that until now libra needs to face the existing resistance from the challenger.

Still can't say anything as the project is still under development but most probably i would say that there are less chances that i would choose libra coin because there is no much utility offered by libra to common audience except business dealings who advertise on facebook. The target customers will in fact invest in the project due to its popularity and services offered by facebook if there are no much restrictions imposed by governments. But according to me investing in stable coin provide with less profit returns than other like btc in short period of time but if you wanna give it a try then your wish.
Using Libra only in Facebook advertisements would actually be the starting point. Slowly and gradually, it will make way to all business dealings of the world. Facebook is a huge platform. The crypto coin will definitely get huge support. The main problem or concern should be regarding records. In simple words, investing in this coin means, giving economical power to Mark certainly.

if it's approved and accepted later then i'm sure many are very enthusiastic about a change and of course apart from the background of the libra project itself it seems like libra coins will eventually get their place in the crypto market and with its presence at least it will make competition more competitive for every project there is

They do surely will get popular since there is an entity that would massively invest in advertising Libra but thing is it can also help advertise Bitcoin indirectly since people would start raising questions on what cryptocurrencies are and Bitcoin who dominates the cryptomarket would somehow steal the spotlight and compared to the centralized Libra then Bitcoin would sell itself being decentralized. Though I haven’t read what and where could I use Libra if I may come in a possession of it but thw thing is that I would still continue to use Bitcoin.

I think not. It is actually a very large business but it is not controlled and is operated in a decentralized market. Besides, it links with more than 50 large partners around the world and that will lead to huge money laundering in the future that the government cannot control. Then we should not let Libracoins work in the near future.
Right now talking any thing about this is not right as too many conroveries and problems congress is also testing and as you already saying its going to help money laundering is also on point but facebook is big brand for this as its one of hotest right now around the world so we have to wait for this in our country its going to take some long time so we are unable to use for some long time.

Would the people actually use Libra should it be approved by the congress?
Certainly yes, Facebook's Libra has a lot of advantage despite of its advantage. A lot of people have different opinion on this but at the end of the day, its successful still depends on their actions. I personally don't like Libra's platfrom because it's centralized, I don't feel that I'm really in control of my money once I'm holding it. The major reason why I'm using crypto it's because it's decentralized and disallowing that feature will just make me think of using real banks and remittances instead.
Many advantage for investing with Libra coin because Facebook's is owner or Libra coin where have many investor, but we don't know when can invest with Libra coin, I have ready my money for investing with Libra coin and stop using for other altcoin investing because I trust with Libra have good way at the future have higher price with many Facebook user looks agree with Libra coin.
