so there will be soon no point in discussing this at all
with every day that passes this coin is more and more unlikely to launch:
at least six members of the consortium are out already and more to come it seems , PayPal, eBay, Visa and Mastercard were the first to jump the ship
and without their support it is not going to happen for sure , since the central bankers see the threat and would not allow it
to me it seems that Facebook thought they would strike a deal and try to become one of the privileged  , but something went wrong
most likely that the shadow governments and central banksters simply do not want any competition and any attempt to become one of them by some upstart is destined to fail
I subscribe to this train of thought, Facebook should have known the kind of opposition that they will encounter, it is likely that they thought they had enough connections around the world to try to pull off their project, but something went wrong, is the opposition greater than they thought? Or they lost a valuable ally that was supposed to help them overcome the barriers that have been erected right in front of them? But whatever the case it is unlikely the Libra project will ever be released.

With so many controversies arising from this tech giant's ambitious actions, we never truly asked the most important question.

Would the people actually use Libra should it be approved by the congress?
Still can't say anything as the project is still under development but most probably i would say that there are less chances that i would choose libra coin because there is no much utility offered by libra to common audience except business dealings who advertise on facebook. The target customers will in fact invest in the project due to its popularity and services offered by facebook if there are no much restrictions imposed by governments. But according to me investing in stable coin provide with less profit returns than other like btc in short period of time but if you wanna give it a try then your wish.

if Libra is approved, I think LIBRA will only work on Facebook users. even though we know Facebook users are big. but not all Facebook users can use crypto currencies. so only for certain users. Facebook also has paid advertisements. might also be used on this payment.

I will use it if I would know if its functional. I'm still in the process of learning things about this coin but if most users would have a positive feedback about it, I will definitely buy and use it. I guess there's no harm in trying new coins. Sometimes, we only have to take some risks for us to gain something.
The risk that you will going to take needs acceptance if whatever directions the coin will bring you. There's  a target audience since Facebook
already have it's own market and if the management will ensure the usage of this coin inside their marketing then it's really worth to take the
risk and invest. Using spare money if you are not that fully convinced about the project, trying new things is not a bad idea though.
I don't think that you can invest your money into the FB's Libra coin because their project is about a stable coin so you cannot your money using stable coin. You can invest to it if you have million of dollars because you can establish a node but if you are an ordinary person then don't waste your time to Libra because it is not profitable as what you think.

I don't think that I would want to use Libra as I don't find any good use of Facebook right now.
However, from an investor's aspect I think that Libra would be a coin that can give a lot of profits due to the hype that it is going to be created. Having said that, I would be interested in buying some - but now using them for sure.

I hope with Libra coin can give positive price for bitcoin at the future with higher price, now many investor hope bitcoin have higher price with Libra become partner with bitcoin, but without clearly when date launching Libra coin to public and make bitcoin investor keep trusted when Libra coin opening for public.

We don't know how it works out in the future for bitcoin price, so there's no possiblity that it would contribute with the increase of btc value in the future. For a while, there's no exact statement that it will going to have partnership with bitcoin. That's only speculative ideas, and I suggest to keep updated with the latest news to hear more progress about libra.

The fact that Facebook is being this sort of scheme already tells you what you need to know about the deception behind the concept. Crypto's hot right now, and having Facebook on board, a corporation notorious for selling user data is by far antithetical to the idea of crypto decentralization. You add this with the fact that Facebook is begging to get regulated by the US government after the whole 2016 election fiasco and you have a crypto currency that isn't close to what it's "meant" to be.

Funny moment.

Despite the fact that the Libra project is so pressed in Congress, plus the key partners have temporarily (or without temporarily) left the project, uncertainty is in the air.
However, the project launched the main network in test mode. For me, this means only one thing, no matter how much the regulators put pressure on the project, its launch will take place anyway.

I think Zuckerberg probably held his crossed fingers giving various promises to Congress.  Cheesy

Well yes. Libra was created for facebook user who potentially have a transactions meaning they have some sort of payment maybe for a game or whatsoever. It would be practically good in a sense that they won't get hassle in other payment method 'cause Libra was there to fill up the necessary methods for that. And speaking of approved by the government then I would or users would definitely be using Libra.
How to know Facebook or Libra coin make for gaming payment in Facebook social media platform, we don't know what kinds of Libra coin so far without giving information about Libra coin platform. Last update about Libra coin is three moths ago with waiting allowed from United State to adopt Libra coin as legal currency for creating there.

Many websites are coming with new projects we need to consider this Facebook also like this buddy. This company already earned from the people and now they were coming to earn more money in decentralized market as well.
I don't prefer the other altcoins when BTC and ETH in the marketplace.

If there will be a chance, then I will use it. I could actually see good potential out of Libra but when it comes to security, I'm a bit doubting about it since there's an issue about Facebook security measures. I guess it should gain the trust of most investors and users first. Libra still has a lot to prove and it should still have to build a good reputation.
The way Facebook Libra coin is being rejected by some of these powerful countries shows to me that they are still working against cryptocurrency silently because they know that Facebook Libra coin is a very massive weapon to expose a whole lot of people to the use of cryptocurrency and if Facebook coin is being released, there are so many people that will adopt it because many people are suing the services of Facebook platform for so many different things other than to just connect to friends.

We have so many people that are using the platform to market their product to the world and also building client relationship using the platform, which these set of people are the ones that will be more interested and looking at their population, they are really running into millions of people.

Certainly yes, Facebook's Libra has a lot of advantage despite of its advantage. A lot of people have different opinion on this but at the end of the day, its successful still depends on their actions. I personally don't like Libra's platfrom because it's centralized, I don't feel that I'm really in control of my money once I'm holding it. The major reason why I'm using crypto it's because it's decentralized and disallowing that feature will just make me think of using real banks and remittances instead.
maybe people who don't like centralization don't really agree with libra, but I think if the development of libra is good enough, facebook users will use it. however libra is also developed for people who want to do business, so if it does have good results, I'm sure many people who don't agree will also use it.
it's just that, so far there are so many pros cons versions from libra, and I'm pretty sure libra won't arrive on time.

It is very hard to say if people is going to use Libra or not because we still don't know what is it like exactly once launched and we can also say on behalf of other people because we all have different preferences. Personally, I might wanna give it a try just to experience how is it like with Libra but I will always go for bitcoin. I guess it is more of just satisfying my curiosity towards Libra but not of the same feeling and trust to bitcoin.

I'm not in favour of Libra and I would not use it. I don't think it will be successful or profitable, it's just very promoted as a successful project but in reality I think that is far from the truth. Just because Facebook is successful and has a lot of users that doesn't mean that the Libra will go the same way.
Accept it or not it would be mostly used by those people who are fan on using up the platform and when libra is successfully launched then for sure it would be integrated
into the system and would be used into its platform itself. It would either add it up as an option or just make it as a main coin to be used and removing those traditional
payment system.Next would be on other services but its not totally different comparing to a stable coin or e-currency.

It's their advantage that they can encourage people as they are from the leading social media in the world, but we can't deny the fact that for those experts in cryptocurrency, they found it uninteresting and has no real use case as this is just for stable coin, this is just for their own will and interest and nothing good for the investors at all.

every investor has a different view   . other investors might cheerish this one becasue they think that it will be an honor for them to own such famous coin that came from a famous social media icon  while there are those that dont want bother trying it   .  for me i think i will only look at its updates and see how it goes but i think im not going to invest on it using my own hard cash but i better use it on something that i can get benefit the most  .
