I have a 3 or 4 Nvidia quadro FX1800's here.

They are all in perfect condition, no boxes though, they were pulled from workstations i upgraded (mostly for cad and other design) for a local company.

Make me an offer?

I have a 5970 which artifacts, but mines. It gets unstable and turns itself off occasionally.

It's in my sale thread, but PM me if you're interested.

Hey man, I allready have quite a few 5870s that are junk... Thinking of getting rid of them on ebay myself. You could use a heatgun to pull the core off of it and make a cool keychain or something? Smiley

andrew, any interest in my "totally busted" 5870?  we spoke earlier, but..

i'd rather not list it on ebay and have someone buy it thinking it can be fixed, haha.  i don't know if you have some use for the parts, or what.

i could keep the fan on it (+$10!), so then all it'd be missing is the backplate, a few screws, and lots of shiny things on the card.

i missed the end of that 5970 heatsink auction.  went for like $11... wtf   Angry

NVidia 9800 GT manufactured by BFG: I've done some online research on this card. Apparently two versions were made- one that doesn't need to be hooked up to your power supply and one that does. This one does, although it was marketed as a low-power consuming card. It has one six-pin power input.

NVidia 8800 GTX: Manufactured by NVidia? Don't seen another brand on it. Gigantic card! Heavy as a tank, huge fan and heavy cooling. Dual 6 pin power input.

NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS manufactured by MSI: Needs no external power! Yay! Big heat sink, no fan.

All of these cards work as AFAIK, but I haven't tested the top two. I don't think the top two got much use.
Shipping is going to be an issue as the 8800 is HEAVY.

I want $30 (or equivalent BTC) + shipping. I would have to box them up and weigh them to find out how much shipping is.

I have a 5870 that makes a high pitched squeeling. The fan spins, but it won't post or display video. I haven't tried mining with it yet as a non display card. I also have a 6870 that intermittently gets picked up / drops out of Windows. It won't post video, but when it would show up it would mine fine. I took it apart, partially cleaned, and repasted it. I just tried it in a GD70 and it will not work as a display card, but I don't have any other open slots to test it in. Feel free to shoot me an offer on either.

No, he demolished the card. It will never run. The bga is still good probably... But I havn't gotten into reballing and you can buy 5850 bgas on ebay or cheap.

i'll trade you a broken 5870 missing back plate and fan for a reference 5970 heat sink

the 5870, uh, gets warm when i turn on the computer.

Wait, does it post? When running the ram at 300, it doesn't need a backplate to act as a heatsink for the ram. Now the fan missing...is that an issue where a 120mm fan and a few zip ties can fix?
