Yeah... I was mining with bitclockers originally. Now I'm on 50btc and I should be getting .40 btc per day... getting closer to .22 by my calculations.

I've had the rig mining for 3 days with maybe 3 hours of half mining(when the 7970 is down so I can watch a movie)... and I only have .83btc to show for it.... Any suggestions on better pools?

What is your config ? A 7950 should easily handle that.

With my setup, I can watch video/dvd, surf the web and mine on my 7870. The -f70 flag costs me about 2-6 mhash/s, but meh...

I mine at slush's pool, the return is defnitely noticeably higher but very irregular.  If you want to maximize profits you should ask Shadow383 about his pool--I would be mining with him currently (you make a lot/day) but guiminer kicks me off after about 12 hours.  I *plan* on switching to ubuntu-based machines with a better program like cgminer, (which I believe would have no trouble connecting to a private pool like that) but I don't really see the point in investing much time/learning into other systems if the other shoe drops like some people are predicting.

Thanks for the shoutout JJ. I will have that last btc to you tonight. I only have one rig going right now and its mining at 1.2gh/s... But the pool I'm using is not paying me nearly what it should. May have to find another pool.

One EVGA GTX 460se. Works flawless even though its missing a pair of SMT resistors. Will only run 8x pcie 2.0 in a 16x slot or 4x in an 8x slot.

One Asus HD 4850 , was artifacting and then stopped posting after the 9th bake. After the 10th bake failed, I managed to reflash the bios, but still won't post. I have the heatsink but have lost the screws.

HD 4850 + modded NB cooler lmao

Shipping + BTC tip Huh = yours Wink

Got a reference 5870. Mines perfectly. The fan when I got it was wobbley (sometimes hit the plastic cage and made noise); I made an access hole on the face of the fan for oil/lubrication, hasn't made any noise since I oiled it.

I do not believe it is suitable for gaming. RAM is possibly messed up. Last time I OCCT 3D stressed, it showed almost all abnormal colors, but the 3D shape of the fuzzy object was normal (good GPU core), and normally it has streaks/artifacts on the desktop too, but I hooked up a monitor today and I haven't seen any artifacts yet.

If you toss an interesting offer, I'll see if I can get it OCCT stable since the artifact-less desktop is encouraging.

Andrew,

I have 2x Diamond 5970's that each have a single core on the fritz.

The working core mines fine in BAMT, but I have zero luck getting the second to fire up, despite being seen by the OS.

You interested?
