All the orders in the past 48 hours (from this forum, our web page, and Etsy) have been shipped.  Each of you should have received a tracking number.

Thank you for your order and look forward to hearing the feedback. Smiley

We have been invited to participate in an event during "Sustainability Week" at Utah State University next week, and will be making more of everything.  If any bitcoiners are in the area and find us, we will give them some free caramels!

I just ordered a 1/4 lb of both chocolate and raspberry caramels, I can't wait to try 'em!  Grin Those honey + almond caramels were very tempting, I'll have to buy some more later on!

Captain, I was a little confused on your order, but then I saw where it came from.  I will throw a couple of honey and almond caramels in.  It will ship tomorrow.

I'd like 1lb of assorted caramels and a bag of the almonds. can you give me a price and wallet address to send to? Thanks.

Sending you a PM.
Funds are on their way (bitcoin transaction: 1475d83c-2d77-4c73-8715-39a78c288ec0)

sent 10BTC for 1lb assorted caramels and bag of almonds.

also, can you make granola?

Payment received.

Funny you should ask about granola right now.  We make it regularly during the summer for the Farmer's Market, and just once in a while otherwise. I found out the wife was planning on making Chocolate Macadamia granola tomorrow morning while making the honey roasted almonds.  Having some of Kludge's "strangely addicting" granola made us want more.  Making a medium size batch for our family and was going to send some to Kludge as well.  If that flavor works for you, then let me know.

If we combine it with your other order, using a flat rate box may not cost any more in shipping.

I ordered four boxes of these caramels after trying them at BitCon San Antonio.  I just love the taste!

Littleshop ordered the caramels without the candy box...just the bag each 1/4 lbs of caramels are in.  Four 1/4 lbs bags of caramels can fit in the small flat rate shipping box for only $5.15.

And just to brag a little, check out the this link that has a brief review of the Bees Brothers in a Salt Lake City food magazine.

Its on page 6.

Next time the kids are interviewed they will have the San Antonio Bitcoin Conference T-shirts to wear!  Grin

I apologize if this has already been answered...  Where do you get the almonds?  Are they organic?

Each fall (harvest time) a relative of ours organizes a bulk order of almonds for our families and friends.   They drive to California, rent a U-haul trailer and purchase the almonds directly from an almond grower.  They pick up the almonds at the facility where the almonds are being shelled.

These are not “organic” almonds, but they are raw-unpasteurized almonds, (until we gently roast them in our honey blend).  Getting unpasteurized almonds is significant to preserve the enzymes and wonderful flavor of a truly raw almond.  It is now mandatory in California that almonds are pasteurized, unless you buy directly from the grower. This past year the variety we bought are Carmels which have a stronger, nuttier flavor than some of the other varieties.

We just got a couple big fiat-money orders for honey caramels and are making all the flavors today and tomorrow.

Honey: This is a traditional caramel with a distinct honey flavor.

Salted: This is a honey caramel sprinkled with crystals of all-natural sea salt mined from an ancient sea bed in Central Utah.

Almond: Honey caramel with toasted almonds.

Raspberry: Real red raspberries are cooked with the caramel to create a delicious fruity caramel.

Chocolate: Rich dark chocolate nibs combined with chocolate honey caramel.

Caramels are made with honey from our own bees without any corn syrup or white sugar and made in a commercial kitchen.  Each box contains about a ¼ lb of honey caramels (16 caramels individually wrapped).

We also will be making some Honey Roasted Almonds. (BTC equivalent to $8/bag)
