they are asking me for an international passport for KYC purposes. what if i don't have one yet? can i send any alternatives? i can send 2 government IDs and 2 Utility bills as proof of address. I just paid one of the bills recently so i can send a scanned copy of the receipt as well.

If you are an American you can also send your social security number.

Hi Hazek,

I have a ticket open for OVER 6 days without response, is that normal?
You basically denied my home network access from the website due to a glitch I had that spammed the API (Accidentally).

I sent a wire last week on Thursday morning and still have not received it. I understand there was a 1 day banking holiday but the wait time is getting excessive considering I usually receive them within 1-2 bus days.

My request for $2600 has been in "In Process" since December 29 and the support ticket I submitted has not been answered either. I understand it's year end and holiday season, but taking more than 4 days and still not able to clear the backlog and delays, that's just not right. I also initiated a ~$4000 withdrawal from coinbase and was told the ACH will be completed by Jan 8th. Let's see how that goes.

Support just answered my ticket. The status has been changed to "Finished". Now I'm just waiting for the funds to show up in my bank account.

Is Bitstamp support working? Ticket has been open for days and still no reply... I'm unable to trade anymore...

Just did like 30 minutes ago. I think they have huge backlogs/delays due to the holiday season. Almost took them 4 days to respond, but at least they responded.

Bitstamp blocked my IP for accidently spamming their API due to an error in my code.
Their block doesn't seem to lift itself after a period of time. Anyone know if they'll be working tomorrow?

I never had any problems with bitstamp before. So far i can say that this is the most reliable exchange for me.

Not only holidays can delay your deposit/withdrawal but also the backlogs of request that they received on/before/after the holiday.

I've received two withdrawals from bitstamp before and had one sepa-deposit received to my account in just a matter of days.

Now however, I've been waiting for over a month for my sepa-deposit of 1400€ to be credited to my account. I got a response to my ticket more than two weeks ago, promising that "they'll look for my deposit". After that, nothing - no response to my further inquiries.

I sent the payment on the 29th of November, and now ordered an investigation at my bank. It was "good" (in a way) to read in this thread that there are two banks with the same BIC/SWIFT-code, maybe that's the case - but it would be weird since my first deposit was sent to the correct one..

> Edit, received my funds on 31st of December. Thank you Bitstamp! Communication wasn't perfect and it took it's time to be solved, but in the end all's good.

I take it you are not from Europe, so Swift can take anything between 2-5 working days once it has been sent.

Dear Nejc Kodric,

I have a wire withdrawal in Dec.20.
And in Dec.27 I received a KYC message with 8 question,I have replyed  it in Dec.27.
Today I received a answer
"thank you for your cooperation. We have instructed our administration to further process your withdrawal request. Please be advised that we may further contact you if additional KYC checking be necessary.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us again."

Could you tell me how many days it will cost  to reach my bank account?
I need some money to pay my credit card and my loan.

Best Regards
Chao

Hi,

I'm a bit confused about the bitstamp fee.
If i want to withdraw for example 500 USD (sepa)
What would be the calculation?

Sepa is EUR only,

IBAN can be USD.
