Hi folks, what is the USD maximum amount that you can have inside a Bitstamp verified account?

Or is there no limit??

Looked all over Bitmap web site and did not see info regarding this.

Appreciate your feedback.

Aa personal opinion, if you don't know how to manage your bank account to send and receive money you should not attempt trading bitcoins.

As per the bank coordinates, just ask your bank: they know better.

I'm good in trading bitcoin and alts, but this is a no no. I guess I'll have to do some more researching.

I've found mine, but it has XXX as last 3 digits. Do I need to find this from somewhere or?

Are we talking about bitstamp?

Because since verification is mandatory, you should already have sent them all the relevant paperwork to identify your bank account.

This means that no matter if you choose International or SEPA, all the required information are already prefilled for you.

Plus if you are in Europe, pick EU Bank (SEPA).
I think that I've sent the bank statement with come parts blacked out including that number (as it is not prefiiled).
Yes I'm in Europe, but like I said my country/bank doesn't have SEPA.

Account number is what you need.
And if SWIFT is not mentioned there, you can find it here:

On the international wire transfer the box says:"IBAN / Account Number:".
Just looked at some statement it has (rough translations): account number; transactions account (whatever this is supposed to mean).
I'm a bit new to this.

Just provide Bitstamp with IBAN and SWIFT/BIC (which predates SEPA) for your bank account and you'll be fine.
Oh gosh, i see no sleep for me.
IBAN is SEPA.

No it's not.
IBAN (1997) predates SEPA (2008).

IBAN is an "address system".
SEPA is a framework that uses IBAN to facilitate EUR transfer between countries in the "SEPA area" (28+4 countries, check wikipedia for the list).

IBAN can be found on any statement for the current account.
I don't think the receipt for an ATM withdrawal carries IBAN, it could be a security issue.
Well might be some random number then (just says Account: *insert number here*). I'll check the statement from the last month. Thank you.

IBAN is the number that you can find on the recipient when withdrawing from ATM right (aside from the document that you receive when making the account)?
Seems simple enough. Thanks.

No it does not have/use SEPA.

Just provide Bitstamp with IBAN and SWIFT/BIC (which predates SEPA) for your bank account and you'll be fine.

- Bitstamp will instruct their bank Unicredit to transfer you xx.yy USD
- Unicredit will perform a USD>EUR conversion at almost zero costs,
- Unicredit will send EUR to your bank
- Your bank will convert EUR to your local currency

The end.

Then your obvious choice for international transfer is USD.
Because otherwise:
It gets converted to EUR by Bitstamps bank and back to your currency by your bank and both take their cut.

Ill leave it at that. Kinda sleepy indeed.
Oh now I get it. So Bitstamps bank operates in USD (my bad) --> withdraw in USD. Thank you.
It is late here as well.

Let me straighten this up:
Does your mystery country accept SEPA?
I'd message you in private, but don't want to bother you. You probably have better things to do.

The question still remains why would you exchange it twice?!?
Huh? I don't think that you have understood what I have said (I haven't said it clearly anyways..)
I can't withdraw in my currency, as it is not listed on the exchange.

So basically if I've to input the correct information and withdraw in EUR even if my bank was example AON
Why would you withdraw in EUR when you are not in Europe?

I said example. I'm located in Europe obviously. The currency of my country is not EUR though.
